Dear (some) make up artists,

Please stop spraying setting spray like it’s room spray.

The hair gets caught in the crossfire.
Please shield a brides hair/hairline. Or ask us to.

This moisture will undo our work.
Curls drop out, hair can get frizzy/greasy, volume is lost.

13 years ago, Imperial Hair was birthed.

On this day, the Coronation Day of King Charles lll, I want to recognise the Prince’s Trust, and the opportunity, support, and teachings offered to myself as a 21 year old with little other than an idea and passion.

With the support of our small idea, birthed into Imperial Hair, and 13 years on, I, Nitasha Christian am forever grateful for the outpouring of the Prince’s Trust into my 21 year old self.

We want to thank the hundreds (and possibly thousands) of Brides who we have journeyed with over the past 17 years. To be a part of a Brides Big Day is something we’ve always seen as an honour and we treat it as the privilege that it is.

We want to take this opportunity to be transparent with the highs and lows of doing business in the wedding industry. Unfortunately, very recently, we have been inundated by a bride-to-be and her family members with damaging accusations. They have released false information via social media and we’ve sadly fallen victim to harassment. We have now dealt with all matters concerning this client, in kindness, and we stand by our policies stated in our Terms & Conditions.

Once again, we want to publicly thank all of you amazing brides and clients who we’ve journeyed with, served, and developed vibrant relationships with over the years. We thank you for all your support, honest and encouraging reviews, and especially for the honour of entrusting us with your hair on your Big Day!

We will continue to learn and grow in how we can best serve our brides-to-be to the fullest.
