What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, watching the most beautiful floral creations by Barbara Caldecourt whilst enjoying a fabulous afternoon tea at Les Cotils with the tastiest fresh scones. Barbara's title was "Moving through Time" and we travelled from the 50's to the Millennium with floral designs representing the social trends of the decades. An enjoyable time was certainly had by all who attended.

Well we have started the year with a fantastic demonstration thanks to Jacqui O. We don’t have to wait as long for our next event of Afternoon Tea with Barbara Caldecourt. Read below to find out about Lynne Skillett’s Demonstration in July.

We welcomed Jacqui O to Guernsey and she gave us a fantastic demonstration. Jacqui uses sustainable methods of flower arranging, uses as many British flowers as she can and ensures when flowers aren't sourced locally that they are supplies by ethical, sustainable businesses. There wasn't any floral foam in site, and we received much advise in how to use alternatives. The designs were beautiful, and Jacqui's chatter was very amusing. A great time was had by all.

What a fabulous evening yesterday. Nick Grounds was a marvellous demonstrator, narrator and raconteur who enthralled a full event room. Many thanks to Hotel Peninsula for the fantastic dinner and all our wonderful guests who helped make the event so memorable for all the right reasons. Special thanks to Nick, such a skilful and entertaining florist.
