The children's Christmas party is to be held at Fountainhall this year(Heriot is doing the Hallowe'en party.) It is the parents in the village who usually organise this but the school is no more so we'll need a volunteer to take this on please. The committee will need a date asap as the calendar is already filling up. Anyone interested? Funds available from the community council wind farm fund, I'd expect.

As you know it is the halls Centenary this year and plans are progressing but we need your help for the exhibition.
If you have any stories or photos we can't wait to hear them. If you find it easier to speak to someone than write or type it up we can also help with that.

📢🎉Centenary Celebrations 🎉📢

As many of you are aware 2025 and in particular September marks 100years of Fountainhall Village Hall and 10 years since the incredible refurbishment.

To help mark this occasion we have a week of events from Sunday 21st to Saturday 27th hopefully with something for everyone. These are open to all, past present and those with any connection to the village and surrounding areas.

Following the sad news in June of the village school being mothballed/closed, with no time to reflect on what the school has and does mean to the village, this is a time to come together as a community, to remember and celebrate all that is good about our little part of the world.

We hope to see as many of you there as possible so get dates in the diary and spread the word!!

📢Sun 21st Afternoon Tea FREE EVENT

📢 Sat 27th Relaxed Family Ceilidh with live music. There will also be a Food Truck JB Smokeshack in the village.
