I need your help!

Voting for the D’licious Magazine awards is now open and I’m a finalist. I need your votes to help me win.

This is what I did. What WE did as the Kent NHS Wedding Team!

Being nominated is mind blowing enough to me, being selected as a finalist is an absolute honour and seeing my name and face alongside the other incredible humans in the Sprinkle Of Kindness category is just incredible. I hate asking people to vote for me but I can’t win without votes. It would mean so much to me. I would love to win for the 50 other businesses who so selflessly gave their time, money, talent, skill and expertise to gift Kelly and Tim their dream wedding.

At a time when the World truly needed something special and beautiful, we gave it a ‘happily ever after’ straight out of a story book. I’m so proud of the Kent NHS Wedding team and honoured to have shared Mr and Mrs Sammons special day.

Tomorrow is the day!!!!!

Tomorrow our competition winners get married! I can’t wait to see Kelly and Tim become husband and wife, following them through this journey from telling them they’d won, has been a complete honour and a privilege.

Two weeks ago today we travelled to Greenhithe under the guise of interviewing Kelly and Tim as finalists in the competition. Little did they know that we had told them a little lie and actually they had won.

*ANNOUNCEMENT*

A HUGE thank you to all of the amazing couples who entered the competition, reading through your stories moved and touched every single supplier involved. It was such a tough decision choosing our winner but on Monday we surprised this very special couple with the news that they’re now getting married next year! It was a truly magical moment which brought us all to tears.

Kelly and Tim are a nurse and firefighter from Greenhithe, they’ve been together for nine years and have two beautiful children. Kelly’s best friend filled in the application for the competition when Kelly was incredibly unwell after she contracted COVID. With Kelly so unwell and Tim working throughout the pandemic, they were supported by family with caring for their two children. Thankfully Kelly is well now and the family are all back home together where they belong.

The Kent NHS Wedding team can not wait to help Kelly and Tim plan their wedding for next year!
