November ~ Chapter 11 of 12 🍂

How did that happen so quickly?!

Quieter on here last week and a break between weddings and workshops, but still busy times at and for Mindenwood.

October was such a great month as Autumn definitely moved in with its warm, rich colours … while they last.

Here’s a round up of how it looked before sharing what’s coming up in November on Slide 3 🍂

Check ins with December couples - not wishing the days away but these weddings will be special!

Discovery calls, mood boards and proposals for 2026 and 2027 weddings. It’s a perfect time to get in touch. I love chatting with you and finding out about your plans and hopes, then translating them into words and visuals.

A very beautiful seasonal inspired shoot at with So excited to be able to share more!

The most fabulous weekend with Thank you and some of the most amazing enquiries since!

A super evening at

A site visit to for a wonderful 2026 wedding.

Started working through The Base Notes with Focus is on my creative strengths to build on success to date and moving the business forward. Yes to being a creative business owner 💫

Getting organised thanks to a storage container and workspace rejig in progress.

And finally, spent yesterday morning with Time to work on a refresh and ready to show up more … well, that’s the plan 🍂

And of course, some time to rest and reflect, and daily adventures with Maude 🐾

What were your October highlights, and what’s ahead in November? Do share 🍂

When it’s meant to be, magic happens. These super kind words were because it was absolutely that x

Hello Lisa!

Just want to say you did such a beautful job, the colours and curation were perfect to say the least, so clean and it was just so warm and romantic as it transitioned to night time!!

I’ve said it so many times now but honestly so grateful to have found you! Your passion gave me the confidence, and literally made this process so easy.

Really wish I was able to catch you at some point on the day but thank you so so much.

Lots of love, Carly ❤️

Always my pleasure to create for you, and this was truly a dreamy florals and styling brief for Eddie & Carly’s wedding day

Always here for more magic x

The magic of colour 🌿 For Natalie and Oliver, it was green and undeniably gorgeous for their wedding. A Walled Garden ceremony - the perfect backdrop and Fig House wedding breakfast on a beautiful Summer’s day.

Florals were minimal but foliage was abundant in both variety and texture for bridal party, ceremony and wedding breakfast.

A fabulous example of having the wedding you want, and not what you think you should have.

POV We think enhanced not hidden is the best way to create incredible ceremony spaces for your wedding day.

More can be more, less can be more but when it’s right, that’s when it’s most special.

Our statement floral floor arch, filled with garden roses and peonies was perfect for the ceremony space and the splendour of last month.

And such a treat for it to be captured on the day by the very talented

Are you team more, less, just right?

Milestones and meaning 🤍

Your first anniversary ~ Beth and Jack, I can’t believe it was a year ago already, how time flies!

I love wedding days when your flowers are delivered and set up but equally, anniversary days are special too as we get to revisit the beauty of your day again.

Paper is the traditional gift ~ a blank page to write your future together; endless possibilities; communication and for documenting memories. And the modern gift is clocks, to symbolise the passing of time and the preciousness of shared moments.

Whatever you do today, I hope it’s filled with love, laughter and a whole lot of Buzz 🐾🤍

If it rains on on your wedding day, here’s what to do …

Still laugh, still celebrate, still have the best day filled with love and happiness … just have a brolly or few close to hand.

It’s exactly what Jess and Steven did during their incredible ceremony in the walled garden at . And Jess was so right, the sun came out at the right times!

Plus, it’s considered to be good luck for a number of reasons, including ‘tying the knot’, it’s so much harder to untie a wet knot 🤍

For the love of flowers ...

Quality classic, natural flowers arranged thoughtfully in a relaxed style for you. Just you.

Hand tied arrangements (minimum spend £25) and posy ‘hugs’ in a jar (from £15) currently available Wednesday to Saturday. Contactless delivery is available to a number of Durham postcodes (after 5pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturday) - contact for availability and possible additional cost.

Flowers and foliage are a mix of imported and local, seasonally sourced stems. They’re presented in an eco-friendly way using paper, card and glass that can be recycled; even the flower food packet is compostable. The aim is to not use cellophane but there are times when stems will be ‘aqua packed’.

How it all began ... I’ve always appreciated flowers, both cultivated and wild, as a treat for the senses (colours, shapes, textures and scents) as well as how they can make you feel. After enrolling on a floristry course as a creative escape, I realised that I wanted to do more than that, and so Mindenwood Floral Design began. Why Mindenwood? It’s the pedigree family name of our much loved dogs.
