Let’s be honest—groom prep is often the underrated little sibling of bridal prep. But it’s got its own charm: less chaos, more laughs, and just the right amount of “Wait, where are my cufflinks?” energy.

The vibe?

Think beers over breakfast, questionable dance moves in the mirror, and one mate who’s in charge of tying everyone’s ties (because let’s face it, there’s always one who actually knows how).

What really happens:
• The suit check – Everyone’s pretending they ironed their shirts… no one did.
• The bonding moment – Helping each other with cufflinks while pretending you’re in a James Bond film.
• The toast – Maybe it’s champagne. Maybe it’s whisky. Maybe it’s a half-drunk flat white. Either way, it’s cheers to the day!
• The nerves – Hidden behind banter, football chat, and generous spritzes of cologne.
• The best man speech panic – One person furiously writing notes in the corner, insisting they’re fine.

Pro tips:
• Eat something. Seriously. Beer isn’t breakfast.

They might be hidden under layers of dress for most of the day, but oh wow, wedding shoes still matter. Whether you go for sky-high heels, sparkly flats, or comfy Converse, your shoes tell a little story about you.

Maybe you picked something classic and elegant to match the timeless feel of your day… or maybe you slipped on your favourite boots because you just wanted to dance without worrying about sore feet.

Some brides even do a quick shoe change—heels for the aisle, trainers for the dance floor (hello, genius!). And don’t even get us started on the personal touches—embroidered dates, initials, “something blue” hidden on the soles. We love all of it.

Whatever you choose, your shoes carry you through one of the most special days of your life—so make sure they’re you, whether that means sparkle, suede, or slippers….

Our last pre shoot this season as weddings are truly on a roll now. We like to do them spring and autumn and it’s a great way for us to get to know each other for the big day! Pre-shoots or engagement shoots are good to see how we work and make you feel more relaxed on the big day!

Ooh we love a veil shot! Shireen really wanted some gorgeous curl shots with the two of them so we of course said YES! This was taken at in all its springtime glory with the most stunning wisteria tunnel@in the garden!
