Beach hut picnics are officially BACK - and we’ve got some exciting news to share!

My amazing business bestie, Ashleigh, is now taking the reins and will be the creative force behind all of our beach hut parties going forward. So let me introduce you to My Little Party Patch Picnics !

Since Ash lives in Mersea and we’ve teamed up on so many fabulous events before, this just felt like the perfect next step. I knew she’d be amazing at it and her very first setup already proves that!

I can’t wait to see the stunning picnics parties she’ll be bringing to life this summer. Make sure to follow her journey and show her some love and support. She’s a truly wonderful human, and I’m beyond excited that she’s stepping into this role with so much passion and creativity.

Supernova just turned 5 so here I am Amanda – a (about to turn 52) mum of three , Occasional thespian & full time procrastinator .

It definitely took the first years of running my own business to find a better work/ life balance . When I started to make better choices & not spread myself so thin in both it made it so much more rewarding .

When I’ve struggled I always try & come back to why I started. Yes I wanted to earn a living after being a stay at home Mum but I also wanted to find something fulfilling.

I created Supernova Sleepover to bring unforgettable experiences at an affordable price. I wanted to create the perfect pop-up parties that spark imagination and ease the load for busy parents.

Providing families with the opportunity to make lasting memories and enjoy quality time in the comfort of their own home was the goal.

I believe children are amazing, and my love for creativity and design made this the perfect mash up.

As a parent, I’m a bit old-school and truly value the magic of imaginative play. Over the years, I’ve learned what interests & excites kid so I try & use those tools when I’m designing my themes .

It’s also been the perfect business to fit in around my family & they play a big part of it all now !

I never imagined it would be a success . I have all my returning customers to thank for that , there are so many now , I’m so grateful to you & all my lovely followers for showing me such love & support .

I plan on creating for as long as you’ll have me and I can’t wait to bring a little bit more Supernova magic.
