Crisis is a charity working to help people live a life beyond homelessness by providing long term solutions to the issue of homelessness in the UK.

Diana has lived and worked in Ealing for over 30 years and asked us to post this on behalf of her lifelong friend. These young men are attempting an enormous challenge in aid of a very worthwhile cause that deserves the widest support possible. They are attempting to row 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in the World’s Toughest Row. Their boat is named Stephen in memory of Rob’s Dad who received tremendous help from Macmillan nurses. Rob and his mates have been planning and training hard for this for 2+ years. I want to help them raise this money that will be specifically targeted at financing MacMillan nurses who provide such caring support to so many cancer patients and their families. Thank you, Diana

🎉 Cole family street party for Meadow House

Long time supporters of the hospice, the Cole family are pulling out all the stops to throw a street party to remember, and all proceeds will go to Meadow House Hospice.

Last year the family turned their home into a haunted house for Halloween, and a magical grotto at Christmas, to raise money to our hospice.

Dad, Jason, said: The hospice was there for my mum, and this is our way of saying thank you.”

Guest appearances from Elvis and Ed Sheeran tributes are sure to entertain, and children will love the magic show, splat the parent, a limbo contest and much more.

So, grab the family, slap on the sun screen and head down to Kempton avenue, Northolt on 10 August from 1pm.🎉
