I am beyond humbled to have conducted the service of a retired Corporal today. His colleagues from the Duke of Wellington Regiment honoured him beautifully with Buglers and standard bearers and a regimental wreath. We are grateful for his service to the country, and may he rest in peace. Thank you Emotions Funeral Service for entrusting me with serving this wonderful family.

Today we said goodbye to a glamorous , well coiffed lady who likes the finer things in life- particularly after a holiday where her caravan was infested with earwigs! Today we celebrated a young man who was a father, a son and a brother. His life ended too soon but the focus today was the life in his years and his achievements in football. He was an avid Leeds United supporter, so it was only fitting that the service. Loses with “marching on together”. Thank you Emotions Funeral Service for entrusting me with this lovely family.

This afternoon we celebrated the life of a lady who not only fell in love with a Jamaican, but fell in love with the country so much she used to go there several times a year without her husband! She adored the vibrant music and culture and she made amazing rice and peas! It was an absolute honour to conduct her service. Thank you to Pearson Funeral Service for introducing me to this lovely family. Out of many, one people.

Yesterdays service at Parkwood crematorium with Highfield Funeral Directors found us saying goodbye to a quiet man who came from Trinidad aged just 5. He epitomized the phrase of ‘If you have nothing kind to say, say nothing at all’.
Dearly missed by his family and God Children. I’m blessed that his beautiful family chose me to conduct the service, sadly the third time I have had the honour of serving them.

This afternoon there was laughter and tears ,as alongside Funeral Director Jyden from Huddersfield Funeral Home we said good bye to a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who scared her grandchildren with poetry and absolutely loved to win at everything she did. She and her husband were married over 65 years- absolutely admirable and enviable!

Today at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium we celebrated the life of a gentle, karaoke loving chap who passed suddenly and prematurely. Apparently he did a mean Johnny Cash! Thank you Pearson Funeral Service for entrusting me with the service for this wonderful man

So lovely to meet up with a future bride and groom that I met Briar Court Hotel wedding fair on Sunday. Congratulations to them on their engagement and I look forward to officiating their wedding early next year!
