Buying British-grown flowers isn’t just about beauty, it's about making a difference 🌍
Here’s why it matters:
Fresher blooms – Locally grown flowers haven’t travelled thousands of miles, this means they last longer, reduce impact on the environment and they also smell so much nicer.
Seasonal – Embrace the charm of the seasons with ever-changing blooms, such a beautiful thought that you are holding a flower that has taken months to grow and is now having it's brief time to shine.
Support local growers – By choosing to support a local flower farmer or sustainable florist like myself, you are not only helping to sustain small-scale British flower farms and skilled florists who pour love into every stem but also supporting the bugs and the bees that are living through the wonderful chemical free eco systems that have been created.
Eco-friendly choice – Buying British means supporting local, this means lower carbon footprint. Also less plastic usage, and fewer chemicals which are harming nature around us. As a sustainable florist, I use foam-free, compostable, or reusable materials to reduce waste and harm on the environment.
Natural designs – Arrangements with British flowers often have a more natural, wild, and thoughtful feel. You’re buying a story, not just a bouquet.
