Emily & Ross

What a wedding this one was - so much fun!!

Emily and the girls brought all the energy and colour with the most amazing selection of dresses, with Ross and the boys looking super dapper in their blue suits too.

Following the morning preparation at the nearby Sandburn Hall, we all headed over to St Mary’s Church in Sand Hutton for a gorgeous ceremony where the couple officially became husband and wife. Then it was time to celebrate.

I broke away from the guests with the couple to get over to the reception venue early so that we could be taken out to the adjoining woodland and wow, it was spectacular. With the tall pines and lush ferns, the couple looked incredible - then it was time to head back and get partying.

White Syke Fields has rocketed up my list to become one of my favourite venues, the setting is perfect for everything! The main barns are huge and looked stunning when styled and there’s so much to see and do there.

The rest of the day was so amazing - with space hopping, cocktail making and a whole heap of other activities, before the evening exploded into a feast of colour and energy.

A huge congratulations to Emily & Ross!

Sally & Callum

Back to Swancar for the first time this year and what a joy it was - Sally and the girls were so excited and as Callum and the boys joined the laughter and smiles became contagious.

With hair and makeup looking fantastic, Sally had a reveal with her bridesmaids and mum before getting her father in for a first look and he was truly blown away with how gorgeous his little girl looked on her wedding day. In the meantime, Callum had felt almost every emotion after opening his gifts from his bride-to-be - some of which were really personal and heartfelt.

Their ceremony was beautiful, and the couple soon left the ceremony to a blizzard of confetti and the celebrations were then well and truly underway. Some group photos and couple portraits during the drinks reception were the perfect setup for their wedding breakfast.

Following a wonderful feast, we headed out with the couple for a few more portraits ahead of the first dance, and you could just tell how much they were both enjoying the day - it was non-stop laughing all the way.

Their dancefloor was filled and as they boogied the night away, I headed off feeling such a sense of fortune to be able to enjoy days like this.

A massive congratulations Sally & Callum!

Engagement Sessions

What a year it's been so far for these sessions, getting to meet and spend time with my couples is always a pleasure. So far I've been into London, all over the Cotswolds, and even Snowdonia.

As wedding season is now in full flow, I'm having to space them out, but I've still got some fantastic dates in the diary!

Christina & Josh

This was a very special one for me for so many reasons, but even more so for the couple!

Several years ago I was fortunate enough to be asked to capture some family photos for them and we got on really well, once the images were delivered, Christina joked that I was now their family photographer and if they were getting married I'd get a call.

Well, that happened and as they told me their plans it was certainly something out of the ordinary - they'd been given written permission to get married at Lichfield Cathedral!

It was Moxhull Hall was to stage the rest of the day and wedding preparations to began early, as Christina and her bridal party were in full flow with hair and makeup when I arrived alongside Laura (one of the videographers). We set to work with the details and dress, before turning the camera on the bride as she finished getting ready and she looked incredible.

At the same time, Kris and Lucas (second photographer and the other videographer) were capturing the morning with the boys and it's fair to say they were really excited to head to the Cathedral and greet their guests.

Their ceremony was beautiful and they thoroughly enjoyed every second as their guests were supported by the choir, which Christina had booked as a surprise for Josh. They walked out of the Cathedral as husband and wife and the celebrations really started to kick into gear and it wasn't long before everyone was enjoying the celebrations at Moxhull Hall.

Their drinks reception was great, with plenty of time to relax and get photos before everyone sat for the wedding breakfast. MC'd by the speeches were all superb and following a break the evening kicked off in style, with a knife dance and cake cut and then a LOT of dancing!

A huge congratulations Christina & Josh!

Jess & Jed

Celebrating their big day at the end of April were this incredible couple - with Caswell House providing the backdrop and the most beautiful of early-summer days keeping their guests covered in sunshine, it was always going to be an epic wedding.

From the moment I arrived until deep into the evening, Jess and Jed were just so filled with joy and it was infectious; their friends and family witnessed their marriage before celebrating with them with a glorious drinks reception and a superb meal.

We caught so many lovely moments and Jess wasn’t going to let anything stop her getting the most from their couple portraits - at one stage requesting to climb into a wheelbarrow as we made our way though the orchard at sunset.

When I first met the couple for their engagement session, I knew this was going to be one hell of a party and it certainly proved to be that - I didn’t want to leave in the evening as it was is much fun.

A huge congratulations Jess & Jed!

Throwback to 2023 where Steph and Martin had the most fun-filled wedding!

So much joy and laughter with the bridal party setting the tone for the day. They danced their way down the boardwalk, with one couple even swapping clothes! Their day had it all, from axe throwing, surfing and some fun with smoke grenades, it was non-stop and amazing to capture.

Scroll to the end for some outtakes!

The end of September saw this wonderful couple get married at Caswell House and they had an amazing time surrounded by their loved ones. The sun crept out for the drinks reception and we managed to get out into the gardens for a few moments before joining their guests for a real celebration.

The morning preparations on both sides were full of excitement and nerves, but when they came together at the top of the aisle there was nothing but smiles and laughter and that became infectious as their bridal party were on top form ensuring the dancing in the evening didn’t stop.

Congratulations Hannah & Paul!

Silan & Sam

My second wedding in London this year and it was all kinda of incredible!

Sam was already at Pembroke Lodge when I arrived and was busy putting the finishing touches to the decor, whilst the team from Jessica Eliza Flowers were busy setting up the ceremony space with the most amazing and unusual florals.

As the guests arrived, the excitement was infectious and it wasn’t long before Silan and her mother joined and the wedding day could begin! Silas looked absolutely stunning and took Sam’s breath away as she walked down the aisle. Their ceremony was beautifully led and it wasn’t long before they headed back down the aisle together as husband and wife.

Out on the terrace, over looking the edge of Richmond Park and the Thames Valley the guests enjoyed their drinks reception as I began to capture several formal groups. As we could see the rain was heading our way, Silan and Sam ducked away from their family and friends to join me for some quick portraits and they were so wonderful to capture.

Returning to the venue, we rejoined the rest of the guests inside ready for their wedding breakfast and the sun returned to light up the room and act as the perfect backdrop for some emotional and hilarious speeches. It’s tough to get the blend of personal tales and comical moments right, but all of the speeches were fantastic.

Los Amigos Band kicked off the evening with the couple taking their first dance to some energetic live music and the party just kept getting better as the dance floor was quickly filled with everyone enjoying themselves and it really was one of the best atmospheres I’ve experienced for an evening reception. When the band finished their set and the DJ took over, not one person moved away and the celebrations continued long into the night - I didn’t want to leave!

I was made to feel so welcome and part of the day and I can’t thank everyone enough.

Congratulations Silan & Sam!

Style it out.

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of capturing a shoot put together by Nina from The Wedding House. She reached out towards the end of last year to ask if I would like to come along and photograph the shoot and, having not done anything like this before myself, I decided to say yes!

Nina had pulled together some great people for this project, including the couple Kim and Marco, who'd not modelled before - you'd have never known though as they were both brilliant.

The first look utilised the Drawing Room for our ceremony and was filled with flowers and candles galore, we were blessed with some beautiful winter sunlight, before moving to the Georgian Reception room to show off the styled table settings.

The second look involved a dress change for both and featured the champagne tower, which looked amazing.

A massive thanks to Nina for getting me involved and to all of the team involved - I think we smashed it.

Groom Prep

It's not just the girls who have their moments captured in the morning, the guys get their turn too!

Usually, there are a few more nerves this side for us to capture, but once surrounded by their mates, the banter and laughing quickly follows.

Just a little selection of groom preparation images from last year.

Bridal Preparation

Getting ready can be all kinds of fun - spending time with your closest friends and family, sharing the nerves and excitement and getting to finally show off that dress!!

I love capturing those impromptu moments, the spontaneous singing and dancing, the stunned bridesmaids and proud parents.

Eleanor & Corey

I can't believe it's been almost six months since this amazing couple tied the knot! But looking back to the summer isn't the worst thing right now.

Eleanor and the girls enjoyed the perfect start to the day, relaxing in the Dressing Room at Caswell House as hair and makeup were completed to perfect by

Corey and the boys were at the other end of the venue, enjoying a drink after getting their suits on, before heading inside to welcome guests and await the bride.

Eleanor walked up the aisle with her father and absolutely blew everyone away in a stunning dress from

Following their beautiful ceremony, everyone headed outside to enjoy the sunshine, throw confetti and grab a beverage. We took the couple for a walk around the fantastic private gardens just before the wedding breakfast and from then on, it was celebration time!

The evening reception was amazing, with music from and we even got outside for a few around the fairy lit gazebo before Eleanor headed back in for a dance with her father.

Congratulations again to Mr & Mrs Lawes!
