This week we 'celebrated' our 8 year Wedding Anniversary.. I say 'celebrate' loosely as it always goes unnoticed with work, children and mid-week celebrations but it's one of the reasons why 'Dear Emma' was created.

After my own Wedding, I wanted to create bespoke stationery for other brides and grooms and build a business that would allow me to be at home when we decided to have children.

" You wont' make money on folded card!"
"How can you do that, you won't have the space."
"What will you sell..."

Well when I officially started Dear Emma in June 2020 - it was exactly that!

There were no Weddings due to the covid pandemic, it was a now or never situation and in my mind I thought to myself 'who on earth is going to buy folded cards from me?' Well they did!

And my business carried me through being at home for my babies every single day and for that I will be forever proud of myself!

So here is the real reason I’ve been so quiet just lately… 😭

Although still very much busy with stationery and Weddings throughout August, I decided to take myself off my social media account this month to really focus on my girls 💕

In less than 1 week my baby starts primary school and whilst it’s taken me awhile to get my head around how quickly these last 4 years have gone, I wanted to spend every moment of these last 6 weeks with them both and cherish these memories together (without the pressures of posting online)

I know my Evie will smash next week, I’m not so sure Mummy will 🥹 but this little ray of sunshine has brightened our days ever since she was born. I know you will continue to make us and those around you laugh so much.

You will bring so much to your new chapter Evie and with your Big Sister right beside you.

To all those little ones starting next week… I’m with you Mummy and Daddy’s 🥹😭🥰

Dear Emma is the home to luxury hand-made wedding stationery based in Herefordshire. With almost 10 years experience of working in the Wedding & Event Industry and currently working at one of the UK's most prestigious wedding venues, I understand the importance of perfection on your special day.

I have always had a strong interest in fine art and graphic design and studied at the Hereford Art & Design College after finishing school.

After making many of my own wedding supplies for my big day in 2017 - Dear Emma was born!
