I had the privilege of creating these flower arrangements with Nia for my mum’s funeral. We had the studio to ourselves — just the two of us, surrounded by flowers, playing all her favourite songs and singing along. It’s a core memory I’ll never forget.

Friday was her funeral, and it’s been such a hard build-up to this moment. Now that it’s passed, I feel a bit empty, but I’m so grateful for the love that’s surrounded me — from family, friends, and flowers. They’ve helped fill me back up when I needed it most.

I wanted to share this because we’re all human, and it’s not always easy to talk about the ups and downs of life. But I’ve really felt the kindness and support from the people around me — even from friends I’ve met through social media — and it means more than words can say. 💛
