Happy New Year! Wishing you all a year filled with joy, peace and hope🥂🧡.

2022 was a year of adventure for us. We kick-started SoSoul Place in summer and organised two cross-cultural craft markets in two seasons. It was our honour to have met amazing makers artisans and entrepreneurs who are persistent in their crafts and dreams and to have engaged in inspiring dialogues with them as well as visitors from different cultures.

2023 will be another year of discovery and growth - one that will be filled with fun and action of more variety. We are resolved to stay curious and to bravely explore cross-cultural/cross-disciplinary possibilities.

Looking forward to seeing you all at our events this year!

【Thank you! 衷心感謝!】

THANK YOU all for being part of our SoSoul market x Birmingham last Saturday, whether as stallholders, workshop providers, helpers, venue provider or visitors🧡. We hope you had a cozy time and a chance to get to know people and crafts from different cultures and backgrounds including your own and those of others.

For each event we strive to include different elements. Our first market in Summer had cultural seminars and guided tours. This Autumn market had workshops.

We hope to put forward events (PLACE) that bring people (SOUL) together (SOcial connections) and bridge any boundaries among their cultures or backgrounds. That is what SoSoul Place is about.

Like the life cycle of plants, it is a journey that takes time to shape and blossom and will be filled with experiments and adjustments at times. Thank you all for riding with us🤗.

For the coming year, exciting events of more varieties are on the way. Further details will be announced when ready.

TEA TASTING WORKSHOP at SoSoul market (19 Nov)

We are pleased to have Tea Project UK join our SoSoul marking x Birmingham tomorrow!

They are going to give a Tea Tasting Workshop (in English and Cantonese) - Chris from Tea Project UK is going to take you on an 1-hour journey where you can taste award winning High Mountain Oolong Tea and 4 kinds of traditional tea and share interesting facts and stories behind the warmth and aroma of tea. You will leave the workshop with a warmed heart and mind AND a tester pack of OUHUIS rooibos tea (12 tea bags)😊

2 sessions: 12pm / 3pm (limited spaces; first-come-first-served)

No booking required. Drop-ins are welcome. Just come to SoSoul market x Birmingham tomorrow by 12pm/3pm to embark on this wonderful Tea Tasting journey with Chris!
