On Tuesday 3rd of March, our beautiful Mum, Esme Doreen Skinner, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, now reunited with our wonderful Dad, Bill (William) ❤️🕊️
Esme lived with dementia for 16 years, 8 years at her home with all of the family's support, keeping her comfortable there for as long as possible.
Mum then lived happily at Stokeleigh residential care home being supported by the amazing care staff for the last 8 years of her life.
We all visited her on a regular basis and always had laughs, smiles, kisses and cuddles.
Good night and god bless now Mum, free of dementia, she’s reunited now, with our Dad and her sister Bet and the rest of the Skinners and Nottons having a cup of tea and undoubtedly laughing, singing and dancing away.
The funeral will take place at Bristol Crematorium, BS13 7AS, on Thursday 9th April at 12 noon.
Family flowers only, but we will be taking donations for Dementia UK, there will be a link on the order of service as well as a donation box on the day.
Please wear bright and wonderful colours as a celebration of her life. 🌹
