MORNINGS: MONDAY - FRIDAY (flexible on your working day(s) & hours)
Pay: starts at £13 per hour

Our shop and outside catering continue to be popular and as a result we need to expand our team. We are losing a team member who is going to college full-time in September.
Working in a fast paced catering environment, main duties include food preparation, serving customers and keeping the work area tidy.
Don't worry if you don't have experience as we will help you settle in. Taster sessions can be offered to see if you like this type of work.
Applications also welcomed on a temporary basis from students / school leavers.

It has been so lovely to hear kind feedback from a recent special event we did for one of our regulars at their drinks reception - 200 canapés - here’s a few that Roddy made …. bruschetta, hot smoked salmon mouse with horseradish, coronation chicken & roasted veg with sweet chilli.

Other options included pate with redcurrant, brie and cranberry, falafel bites, egg mayo and rare roast beef.😊

Crispy chicken is ready, Sausage rolls in the oven, the soup is LENTIL says Scott our painter, loads of fresh salads, and plenty sweet treats!

We are so chuffed and amazed with the results of the refurb! It’s all thanks to the skilled and hardworking team ....Craig Shanks Joinery & colleagues; Stevie and his team of electricians (Simpson & Moir Ltd); Alan Munro Plumbing; Scott Macleod and his team of painters; Carpet Emporium and Kris Douglas for his expert floor laying.

The refurb was led by Craig Shanks - you took our stress away with your advice, speed, skills & results - Highly recommend you all. ⭐👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Also big shout out to Crown Deli Team and especially Roksanna, Lauren, Ruth & David. 😊♥⭐

We will have the shop open this week and aiming for Tuesday. It will be great to see our friendly customers again 🫶

Great progress this week on shop refurb due to the hard work and expertise of Craig from Shanks Joinery and his colleagues. The "lived-in look" with green and red has gone and we're already seeing a fresh and bright look 😀 We are aiming to open week beginning 23 Feb and will update you here. EXCITING NEWS!...

Crown Deli is getting a refurb from Monday 9 February 2026 so expect the shop to be closed for a couple of weeks for "walk-ins" .
