Nothing to do with events but a nice dog story. 😁

Lina is 6 today and a wonderful dog with her bigger partner in shenanigans ,’Beau’.

Lina is a German Shepherd pedigree who was rescued 4 years ago. She’s from a show line with a drop back. An unbelievable guard dog and misses nothing. A tag team with Beau, who is the trained, very balanced, ‘wolf protector.’
Both shepherd’s combined power of almost 90kg.

They are both an absolute pleasure and have boosted the confidence of many kids with large breeds.

Lots of good people come to say hello.
Great with children but also loyal and protectors. ❤️

Update for Veterans and Community CIC.

As a community interest company our aim and objectives are based on value, quality and the ability to support groups and other voluntary organisations.

Allowing Veterans to use their skills to help our communities is also primary aim.

Over the past few months we have supported the Royal British Legion with free room hire and staffing and also offered training space.

We always allow security, Police and council meetings to take place in our space free of charge for the good and benefit of the community.

Armed Forces Day 2026 we donated £200 to boost cadet funds and proud to support any aspect of uniformed services.

We have constantly supported our Armed Forces breakfast club ran by Richie Mack with free refreshments and support.

Anxious Minds Armed Forces Mental Health Charity are based at Seaham Town Hall and provide award winning services for both Veteran and civilian residents.

Our local theatre groups are given free time for setting up their fantastic shows and musicals.

We will be delivering first aid and self defence training in the community starting today at Church Street and also looking to present on line training for water safety and bleeding.

Some of the activities we host include.

Social wellbeing for over 55 years (U3A).
Theatre and musicals.
NHS advisory groups.
Employment groups.
Mental heath.
Fitness classes.
Security training.
Local schools.
Military events.
Youth events.
Meetings.

Weddings.
Christenings.
Birthdays.
Parties.
Bands.
Conferences.
Training facilities.

We will engage and collaborate with any groups and residents to support our local and wider communities.

We are now welcoming applications from wellness businesses, practitioners and holistic brands to join us at our Zensational Wellness Event on Sunday 26th July at Seaham Town Hall.

Today, Veterans and Community CIC donated a further £200 to the collection monies from Saturdays Armed Forces Day which will be given to the cadets by Seaham Town Council.

The events that are organised throughout the year happen due to the commitment of Seaham Town Councillors and Staff to make Seaham a better place. 👋🏼👋🏼👊🏼

Looking forward to the Brass Bash and Seaham Festival in a few weeks. 🇬🇧👍

It was a privilege to attend the Coalfields Regeneration Trust open day and help out with a ‘cost price’ buffet for guests. This is a marvellous organisation and have welcomed people to drop in a see what they are all about.
