The moment a room turns is never the first lap. It's when someone posts a time, walks away pleased with themselves, and then watches a colleague take it off them by two tenths.

The live leaderboard is what makes that happen. Our simulators link together on one circuit, so everyone races the same track and can see where they stand, and a queue turns into a competition.

Every rig we hire can carry your branding, from seat-back decals to full wraps that put the whole car in your colours, along with custom liveries in the game itself so your brand is on the car your guests are actually driving.

Clients have included Mercedes AMG Petronas F1, Peugeot, Nissan, Jaguar, Venatus and BP.

Wraps need artwork lead time, so if you want them for December, tell us when you book. Call 01327 856155.

Thirty seconds on the clock, hit as many lights as you can. The Batak reaction board is the reaction test F1 drivers train on, and it's the best add-on we hire because it's instant, with no queue, no learning curve and nothing to explain. Someone has a go, posts a score, and then stands there watching a colleague try to beat it.

Pair it with the simulators and you've got two leaderboards running all evening instead of one. Ask for it on your quote: 01327 856155.

How many simulators does a Christmas party need? Usually fewer than people expect.

At a Christmas party the racing is one attraction among several, so guests drift over in ones and twos across the evening rather than queueing as a group, and a handful of simulators keeps a party of a hundred or more busy all night. When the racing is the main event and everyone's expected to drive properly, plan for roughly one simulator per three or four guests instead.

Underneath both numbers, allow 8 to 10 drivers per simulator per hour. Send us your guest count and timings and we'll work it out with you.

Our team comes with the kit on every hire. We deliver, build, welcome your guests, run the racing, keep the leaderboard live and pack down at the end, and we've never done drop and go, because equipment left in a corner only gets used by the few people already confident enough to sit in it.

It also means one supplier, one point of contact, and nobody from your side spending the evening explaining how the pedals work. Included in every quote. Call 01327 856155.

Organising the work Christmas party is a thankless job. Everyone has an opinion, nobody wants to own it, and the budget usually lands late.

We've written an honest guide to Christmas party entertainment, including where the usual ideas fall short. The short version is that one big shared activity beats a dozen small ones.

The first question venues ask us is what the simulators actually need, and the answer is less than most people expect. Each one takes up roughly 1.61m by 0.6m of floor and stands about 1.42m tall, and each runs off one standard 13A socket drawing no more than 1kW. There's no three phase, no generator and no special flooring involved.

Setup takes around two hours, we break down after your guests have gone, and delivery is included within 100 miles of our Silverstone base.

Send us your floor plan and we'll tell you what fits.

Christmas party season has already started for anyone organising one. The best December dates go first, and they go to the companies who book in September.

We deliver F1 and GT racing simulators to venues across the UK from our base at Silverstone, linked on one live leaderboard, with our events team running the racing all evening. Hire starts from £790 per day excluding VAT, and quotes come back within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
