06.06.26 💍 Sarah and Chris ♥️ What a beautiful ceremony and so much fun! The rain came so we had the ceremony in the barn. It was so lovely and intimate with a gorgeous green field in the background.

Sarah and Chris's ceremony featured heartfelt vows (tears were shed!), a hand fasting ritual and I was their ring bearer. Their sixty friends and family were great fun and really friendly, with great audience participation and we had some funny ad-libs.

I loved sharing how they met, their first impressions of each other, first date, engagement and all the things they're looking forward to in their future.

George and I went for a celebratory drink afterwards.. - cookies and cream milkshake for me and a cow pat sundae for him! 🐄

💖 MAY 💖 What a wonderful month! Three glorious weddings ceremonies, rehearsals, planning meetings, photoshoots, a mini break to Carbis Bay with mum, George and Pickle, bbqs and HOT HOT weather! 😍

What a day! 🏰 The sun certainly came out for Bella and Matt ☀️

'The ceremony has been my favourite part of the day' were Bella's parting words to me 🥹 They very kindly invited me to the wedding breakfast so after spending the whole day with them, that was honestly so amazing to hear! ♥️

Bella and Matt's outfits were AMAZING! Can you believe Bella made her wedding dress and Matt's cape?! 😮 She carried a ceremonial sword down the aisle instead of a traditional bouquet and it was SO COOL! 🗡️

The ceremony was beautiful, I loved telling the love story of these childhood sweethearts and seeing the emotion on their faces and tears from their friends and family 🫶

Powderham Castle is such a special place to get married. The fact that you get exclusive use of a castle is very very fun 😍

That's me down for the day now... cup of tea and bedtime for me!

I had a ceremony rehearsal with Bella and Matt on Saturday morning at the beautiful Powderham Castle 🏰 They chose where they wanted the ceremony to be held and we went through all the stage directions so they feel comfortable with knowing what to do on the day. I was also shown around the library, where they will be signing the wedding certificate, and the room where Bella will be getting ready.

💍 Meg's and Alex 18.05.26 ✨

What a beautiful day! I stopped in at my bride and groom's air bnb on my way to They very kindly invited me for a wonderful breakfast spread from as it was only a 4 minute drive from my house! 🥐

I collected their love notes for the Wine Box Time Capsule and took all of their bits for the ceremony so I could set it all up for them. They even entrusted me with their wedding rings! 💍

The rain stopped just as they arrived and they had a really emotional 'first look' before walking down the aisle together. I could hardly hold it together!! When you get to know a couple so well over the months of planning, it really feels like two friends walking down the aisle and it's so hard not to cry!

They had 8 of their best friends and 3 babies at the ceremony and it was just perfect. We had laughs and a lot of tears!

They very kindly invited me to stay for afternoon tea afterwards and I felt really honoured ♥️ We had a chat at the end where they said I was now a friend 🥹 and gave me a beautiful gift box full of yummy food from Dorset where they live.

Thank you so much for having me Megs and Alex, you've been a dream 🥰

Second only to the joy of having just performed a wedding ceremony is receiving a message from a couple after reading the first draft of their script saying, "We LOVE it!" 🥰

Script 11 is out there in the world and number 12 starts as a blank page tomorrow morning.

I just had the idea of totting up how many words I've written so far this year, just for funsies, and it totalled at 48,972 😲

It sounded like a lot to me but when I googled what an average word count for a novel is, it falls between 70,000 and 100,000. A bit further to go then, but maybe by the end of the wedding season I'll have got there! 😆

I still can't believe writing and telling people's love stories is my job 🫶
