Six years ago today, I married my handsome gentle giant, George 💍 We had an amazing day at Muddifords Court in Cullumpton (no longer a wedding venue sadly) with all of our nearest and dearest. We had a 'Greenglish' wedding which meant we incorporated Greek and English traditions. We danced to a Greek band, ate the most delicious food (so much of it!!) and created memories to last a lifetime.

I waited eight years for George to propose so if you're waiting on the big question, hang on in there 🤣

A sixth wedding anniversary is represented by sugar which is perfect for us as we both have a very sweet tooth 😂🥞🍰🍦🍫🍿🍩

We're just waiting for the rain to stop 🤞so that we can make our annual trip to so I can pick my own flowers for my wedding anniversary bouquet from George ❤️ We also have a tradition where we watch our wedding video in the evening with a takeaway. I used to make George watch the whole 3.5 hour version but I'll let him off with just a couple of chapters tonight! That's why I always say.... hire a videographer! It will be one of the best investments you make for your wedding day 📹

Today I visited the beautiful Shilstone House where I have been booked to perform a wedding ceremony in August 2027 😍 My husband George and our furbaby, Pickle, joined me and we had a lovely walk as well as a delicious iced coffee and the best lemon tart we have ever tasted 👌 It has a cafe, restaurant and valley walk so anyone can visit this gorgeous venue!

Here is a little peek inside the gift box I gave to Hannah and Dan on Saturday 🎁 It featured a copy of their script, their personal vows to eachother and a handwritten card 💫 I took it over to Hannah in the morning whilst she was getting ready and she managed to find a few minutes to quietly read through her vows before the ceremony 🫶🏻

The next open day I will be attending is at on Sunday 9th March 😍 It is an absolutely stunning venue and I would love to chat to you about my celebrant work and how personal, special and memorable your ceremony with me can be!

I deliver beautiful and joyful wedding ceremonies, working with my couples to create a completely bespoke and personal ceremony for you and your guests to remember forever. I write every script from scratch so every word is completely about YOU as a couple.

No more quick, unpersonalised ceremonies. The tide is turning and couples are now venturing out for something different. As a wedding celebrant, I can marry you ANYWHERE at ANYTIME and yours will be the only ceremony I perform that day. We will meet multiple times before your big day (either in person or over video call) and I will find out all about your love story and share it with your wonderful guests. You will choose unique and special ways to show your new union to one another, whether it be through symbolic rituals or fun and lighthearted touches and I will make sure it is completely bespoke to you.

I will help you write your own vows (should you want to) and we will conduct a rehearsal at your venue (if convenient for you) so you're completely comfortable with what will be happening on the day.
