🌊 A heartfelt thank you from Wild Goose SUP 🦢💙
After a lot of thought, it’s time to announce that Wild Goose SUP is officially closing.
This decision hasn’t been easy, but with increasing running costs and ongoing logistical challenges around storing all the kit, it’s simply become too difficult to keep things afloat (no pun intended!).
What an incredible few years it’s been; helping people of all ages build confidence on the water, watching first-timers stand up and paddle away with huge smiles, and introducing so many to a sport that’s brought us endless joy.
A huge thank you to Martin and the rest of the team for all their amazing help and support on the water 💦 from lessons to the fundraising events we’ve held over the years. Through Wild Goose SUP, we’re proud to have raised over £7,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, something that will always stand out as one of our biggest achievements.
The biggest thanks of all has to go to everyone who got involved, booked a session or donated to one of our charity events. I have genuinely loved every moment, meeting amazing people, sharing plenty of laughs, and seeing the Wild Goose community grow. If it’s not too much to say, I’m blown away and beyond proud of what’s been achieved, especially having received 100% five-star reviews from everyone who joined a session.
This isn’t goodbye to the water though! You’ll most certainly still spot us out there paddling, so if you see us, give us a wave 👋
