For all the families who have ribbons on the memorial tree these will be left on until next weekend so if you would like your ribbon please collect anytime throughout the week. If you are unable to make it please let us know and we can keep it safe for you. Any ribbons left we will collect and we will burn them with our letters to heaven ❤️

🏆 We’re incredibly proud to have been awarded a Telford Champions Award 2026! 🏆

We’re honoured to receive this recognition from Shaun Davies MP for Telford , celebrating the work of The Pickering Foundation and our mission to create Telford’s first baby memorial, Little Footprints in the Sky. 🩷💙👣

This award means so much to us and recognises the heart, dedication and hard work that has gone into creating something truly special for families in our community.

Our mission is to provide a place of remembrance, love and comfort for families who have experienced the loss of a baby, ensuring that every little life is remembered and never forgotten. 👼✨

A huge thank you to Shaun Davies MP for this recognition, and to everyone who has supported The Pickering Foundation and helped us bring this important project to life. We couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

We had some great coverage yesterday on BBC Shropshire and BBC Midlands Today, its great having opportunities like this, because it means we can raise awareness of all the amazing work whats gone into delivering this special space, but also reach those families who might not use social media and we can hopefully make a difference for them families as well. 💛💙🩷

A massive thank you to Emily Lucy Kimber & Will Leonard for your help over the last couple of days, it really means a lot.

What an amazing evening it has been! ❤️

To see so many families come together to honour and remember their little angels has been truly special.

From all of us at The Pickering Foundation, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us this evening. We hope we have done you and your little angels proud. 🕊️

Tonight has been a real rollercoaster of emotions. Speaking about something we are so passionate about, and seeing so many families come together, has truly shown us just how much this means to so many people.

Over the past 18 months, we have poured our hearts into making a difference for families who have experienced pregnancy and baby loss. To see the impact we have had, and to know that we are helping families feel supported, remembered and understood, means more to us than words can ever express. ❤️

A massive thank you to Cllr Ben Carter, Shaun Davies MP for Telford , and Great Dawley Town Council, Cllr Elise Davies - Malinslee, Dawley and Dawley Bank . Without your support, we wouldn't have been able to bring this very special space to life. We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of you for helping us make this possible.

We were also honoured to be joined by Jo Farnworth , who led our Words of Remembrance this evening. Thank you for helping to make the occasion even more meaningful and special.

Tonight was about so much more than creating a space. It was about love, remembrance, togetherness, and ensuring that every little angel is remembered and every family knows they are not alone. 🕊️✨

Our little angels will never be forgotten, and their families will always have a place with us.💙🩷

Hello everybody. Just a brief summary of this evenings event.

6.15 - please arrive around this time so you have time to collect your lantern and decorate it should you wish.

6.30 - Walk of light

6.40 - Words from local Vicor Jo

7pm - Lighting of the Tree

Once the tree is lit please join us for tea, coffee or hot chocolate. We also have cold drinks available.
Cakes are available along with chocolates and some sweets if there are siblings or any other children attending.

Before you leave please remember to collect a little gift from us.
We also have some beautiful knitted feet which were kindly donated to us to hand out however these are limited .

The walk of light will not be recorded as we believe this is a very private part of the evening however we will be on Facebook live to hear the words from Jo and the lighting of the tree at 7pm along with the nation.

Can we please ask that people park sensibly and not block any paths or driveways.

We look forward to seeing those who will be joing us this evening.
