Very lucky to be asked to host the 37th Annual Yorkshire Awards at The Queen’s Hotel in Leeds alongside the amazing Nina Hossain. It was a superb night organised by The Yorkshire Society and started with members of The Huddersfield Circle of Magicians entertaining in reception, a superb meal, entertainment throughout with poetry and anecdotes from Millie Johnson and Kevin Flahtley Singing from The Bantom of the Opera choir with special guests Chris Kamara and Leslie Garret plus ending the evening singing on stage with the legendary Tony Christie . As they say only in Yorkshire!

Just a reminder to all my friends in Huddersfield that I will be hosting this lovely annual card magic competition this Wednesday so pop along and become part of the judging process while having a great night of magic!

Hi , Next Wednesday, 12th November, is one of the highlights of our yearly calendar it is our Scooter Memorial Card Magic competition, where our brilliant members and sometimes members from other societies compete to be crowned the best card magician in the north.

As always, it is a public event, meaning you are all welcome and every table become the judges for the event as you mark our performers on both magical ability and entertainment value.

It's at The Skelmanthorpe community centre and the doors open at 7.30pm so pop down for an amazing free night of entertainment.
