🧺 BlackBerry picking!

My daughter absolutely loves fruit and blackberries are one of her favs.

Every year we look forward to picking them and working out what we can make with them.

(Just watch out for the low ones 🤪)

She decided that this week we were going to make lemon and blackberry cupcakes with blackberry frosting.

• 3 eggs
• 150g butter
• 150g caster sugar
• 175g self raising flour
• Lemon flavouring or lemon juice
• blackberries!!!

Frosting
• Butter
• Icing sugar
• Lemon juice
• Blackberries

As promised, here’s our first activity!

☀️ How to Make Your Own DIY Paper Plate Frisbee!

Looking for a simple, sunshine-filled craft to keep little hands busy today? Here’s a super quick project you can make in minutes before heading to the garden or park!

What you’ll need:
• 2 paper plates
• Scissors
• Markers, stickers, or paint
• Sellotape

Instructions:
1. Cut the Centers: With your grown-up's help, carefully cut a bowl-sized hole out of the middle of both paper plates.

2. Get Creative: Turn the plates over and decorate the backside of each one! Go wild with bright summer colors, patterns, or stickers.

3. Tape It Up: Place the plates together with both decorated back faces pointing outwards. Sellotape the edges securely all the way around.

4. Play! Head outside and have plenty of fun
