Came across an old poem I wrote in 2019. Thought I'd share it again.

The Voice

The voice. that voice
A voice that has no sound
But will break the silence of a quiet mind
A voice so loud but no one will hear
A voice that generates confusion, curiosity, fear A peaceful mind it will deprive No physical existence but is very much alive

The voice, that voice
A voice of never ending trivia With more catechism than explanatior
A voice to keep one from slumber
A voice of reason, conclusion. wonder
The intonation forever growing
The song of life a call of knowing

The voice, that voice
A voice that has no one to answer to But itself, a higher self A voice that cannot be found by any form of science
A voice of Love, Peace, Violence
Speaking in First, Second, Third person view The Voice inside The Voice is you
