Friday’s service was truly special. I had the privilege of caring for a wonderful widow, who came to me via recommendation from a fellow celebrant. Together we crafted the service for her husband that said everything she needed to, and I helped her design an order of service that was something unique to them. It’s moments like these that remind me how lucky I am to be in this line of work, offering comfort during such a difficult time.

Being a celebrant is more than just officiating your ceremony - it’s also about being your wedding bestie - the safe pair of hands you can trust with anything on your wedding day.

I’m there to calm last-minute nerves, smooth over family tensions, and make sure every detail is just right - from perfecting your hair and makeup to hyping you up for that first step down the aisle, or calming you down before you see your partner walk down the aisle.

I’ll encourage the heartfelt moments, the laughter, the happy tears, and even help you pull off a cheeky prank if that’s your vibe. And when the formalities are over? You’ll find me on the dance floor, making sure the party truly begins!

✨Lee & Jess ✨

Enough about me the last few days - being the center of attention isn’t my thing. But Lee & Jess? Absolute stars! ✨

Their wedding was the perfect mix of fun, chaos (the best kind), and pure love. From a heartfelt sand ceremony with their gorgeous kids (their daughter totally stole the show with her speech!) to an unforgettable night of laughter, this day was all about family, laughter, and joy.

I’ve always believed that the secret to happiness is laughter, and if I’m right, then these two have got it made. From start to finish, their day was filled with so much love, light, and genuine belly laughs - you couldn’t help but feel the joy radiating from them.

I even got to MC the day, seeing how special this family and day were first hand, and leave my own special mark in the guestbook - what a memory of me for this couple to keep! This is one wedding I won’t forget, not just because of the epic team I worked with, but because Lee & Jess are the kind of couple you can’t help but love. 💛

Last Night I was honoured with the title of Kent Celebrant of the Year at the Kent Wedding Awards!

I remember early in my career watching colleagues head off to black-tie awards events, wondering what it would feel like to be recognized in that way. I never imagined it would be me one day.

But here’s the truth - I found my thing. The work that truly lights me up. Writing and telling love stories, whether in a wedding ceremony or a eulogy, has shown me that love is the most powerful force we have. It’s what connects us, lifts us, and reminds us of what truly matters.

I always want to champion other incredible businesses and individuals in the industries I work in so a huge shout out to;
