What does a ‘small’ Tied bouquet look like? We get asked this a lot, so here’s an example from the weekend, two seasonal £38.50 bunches.

These are typically made with a mix of seasonal blooms and greenery, including grasses and other textural elements such as thistles, poppy seed heads or, this week, the return of amaranthus.

Hope that’s helpful! Are there any other questions you’d like us to answer? Drop us a comment or DM us and we’ll get back to you. ☺️

If you’re engaged and planning your wedding, this might be a lovely way to spend this Sunday!

Careys Secret Garden are hosting a Wedding Open Day on Sunday 6th September, opening up their beautiful walled garden just outside Wareham and bringing together lots of lovely local wedding suppliers.

I’ll be there with fresh wedding flowers on display, including designs made with flowers from Carey's Secret Botanicals, grown right here in Purbeck.

Come and have a chat, see some of our work in person, pick up a bouquet and see how it feels!

Entry is completely free (you just need to book in advance), so come along, have a wander around the garden and get some inspiration for your own day.

It would be lovely to see you there!

One week to go until the Wedding Open Day at the beautiful Careys Secret Garden!

We absolutely love working with the locally grown flowers from Careys Secret Botanicals (swipe through for a few recent examples), so we’re particularly excited to be there next Sunday.

If you’re recently engaged and looking for somewhere a little bit different, this really is such a special place. A beautiful hidden garden surrounded by woodland, it really is very unique and one of a kind.

We’ll be there alongside some brilliant local wedding suppliers, so come and have a wander, say hello and chat all things flowers with us.

Sunday 6th September
11am–3pm
Free entry, but booking is essential.

We’d love to see you there! 🤍

We’re officially two-thirds of the way through our wedding season now! It’s been a busy few months, a huge thank you to all of our lovely couples for choosing us to be part of your special day this year. 🤍

If you’re currently planning ahead, our books are now open for 2027. Our peak season (May, June, July and increasingly September), tends to fill up quickly, so do get in touch soon if you’d like to chat about your flowers.

Here are a few highlights from the season so far. Watch this space for our last few weddings of the summer, very excited to show you more! X

Reminiscing about the gorgeous Bridie and Brad, who were married almost a year ago now at the lovely Studland Bay House.

Bridie is the most talented and creative girl, and we were already completely obsessed with her incredible cakes, so when she got in touch about her wedding flowers with a stunning mood board to match, we were so excited to work with her.

Bridie and Brad were married surrounded by a broken arch of flowers framing the Studland Bay House veranda, with baskets of blooms at their feet. Inside, we created an abundant fireplace design in the grand hall, and floral accents for their grazing tables.

Bridie carried a beautiful bouquet of roses, delphinium, jasmine, dahlias, oxypetalum and butterfly ranunculus, while her bridesmaids carried single-variety posies to match.

It’s right up there with one of our all-time favourite weddings, and, to date, Bridie’s bouquet is the one our clients reference most when talking about their own bridal flowers. 🤍

Bouquets du jour. It's that time of year again when we start to see those beautiful late summer and early autumn varieties come into full swing. Dahlias (the stars of August), helenium, echinacea, sedum, snowberries and raspberries... A gentle reminder that change is just around the corner, and that shift into a cooler, more mellow season isn't so far away. It's hard to imagine with the glorious warm weather we've been enjoying, but it's quite a lovely thought too. It makes you appreciate these long summer days and flowers all the more. 💞

BTS from our workshop recently – flowers for the lovely Nancy and Harry. Elegant whites, creams and pretty peachy hues, with buckets of more delicate details that were later added on site to make sure they stayed nice and perky in the heatwave!

We absolutely loved working with this beautiful colour palette, along with some really lovely locally grown stems from Dorset growers Paul Stickland including dainty crème brûlée phlox, sweet peas, and the bounciest white cosmos.

Huge congratulations Nancy & Harry! 🤍🍑🌿

The finishing touches... fun, vibrant, summery floral bottles for Georgie and Huw's tables, beautifully paired with their block-printed napkins, Ester & Erik candles, and, of course, the most epic views across the harbour at Shell Bay 🌅⚓

Last weekend for Georgie and Huw, a beautiful, abundant floral arch at St Nicholas's Church in Studland, filled with soft blues and whites and plenty of fresh seasonal greens, finished with baskets brimming with delphinium and hydrangea. The baskets were later moved to their reception at Shell Bay
