I made my good friend Julie’s dad’s funeral flowers on Tuesday. It’s the best way in which I can help at such a sad time. I have had a few people asking to see pics, especially the blue carrier bag made out of flowers with his hidden goodies in amongst them. So personal and sweet because her dad always carried a blue bag with all his goodies in. I was shattered by the time I got all this lot finished but it was well worth it. I was just glad I could help out. X

Volunteering/Teaching at Beamish Museum for those affected by dementia on my day off was my absolute privilege. What’s the point in having a gift if you’re not willing to sharing it. As many of you know it’s something very close to my heart after caring for Neil’s mam for so many years. We made memory roses. How sweet are these. What a lovely bunch of people. I had a great day and it’s always amazing seeing the lovely Cat. It helps that she makes a canny cup of coffee ☕️. What a beautiful lady both inside and out. I used photographs to make this one as a little gift for my friend. X

When you can just do something nice for somebody to help them out. Rooms fully dressed pretty much at cost. All before I started work. Huge congratulations 🥂 to Paige and Courtney today. It was my absolute privilege to help such a lovely 🥰 family and couple. I wish you all the very best in your lives together. Xx

A stunning fresh floral tribute I finished this morning for a lovely lady taken far too soon. It was a privilege to be asked to make Rachael’s flowers. What is the point in having a talent if you don’t share it with people and families you care about when they need your help and support the most. I will be thinking of you all tomorrow. X

Flowers made in the last couple of weeks just for friends. Fresh funeral horseshoe, fresh leaving bouquet 💐with chocolates, silk wedding lilac and purples in a rush under sad circumstances but I was just glad I could help and finally more wedding flowers in ivory just finished tonight. More funeral flowers to come next week. X
