Back in the office after a trip to the Highlands 🏴
Spending a week surrounded by the sea, mountains and wild foxgloves on every corner. After a baking month down south it was overwhelming to be surrounded by so much green!
Taking time out during the busy season often feels foolhardy when I’m packing up my desk in June thinking ‘why on earth did I agree to this when I have so much to do!’ But I have come back feeling refreshed, invigorated and inspired! It’s funny, through the mountainous walks and pouring rain, my mind was whirring with new ideas, new to do lists and new directions.
I am so excited for the rest of 2026, and want to find ways to inject creativity and inspiration into daily life, remembering to keep looking up and out rather than just at what’s right in-front of me.
Maybe more summer holidays are needed if you come back feeling this good?!
