A wedding at FY Camp near Dereham in Norfolk 🤍

What a venue.

I loved the quirkiness of this one. It has so much character, loads of space, and plenty of room for couples to really put their own stamp on the day.

I had the honour and pleasure of being part of this wedding from the ceremony right through to the end of the night, and it honestly had everything.

Brilliant energy from the crowd throughout the day. Emotional speeches. A couple who were right in the middle of it all. And then one of the best parties in my own little clubroom.

That’s what I love about all day weddings. You get to see the whole day build, from the more emotional moments earlier on, through to the point where everyone is fully involved on the dancefloor.

A Thursday wedding at Copdock Hall near Ipswich 🤍

And it definitely did not feel like a midweek wedding.

The dancefloor was full all evening, the energy kept building, and there were plenty of moments where everyone was properly going for it.

The bride even messaged afterwards saying there were a lot of sore hips the next day 😅

That’s definitely a first for me! 🤣

I think midweek weddings can sometimes get underestimated, but this one proved they can have just as much energy as any Saturday night. The right couple, the right crowd and the right music makes all the difference.

My dad wasn't feeling Sophie Ellis-Bexter but as he recognises the next song, his hands are rubbing together and he’s on the dancefloor.

This was from a wedding at Lanwades Hall near Newmarket, and it sums up exactly what I want couples to feel after their wedding night.

Before the day, it’s about understanding the music you love, the songs you definitely don’t want, and how you want the evening to feel.

Then on the night, it’s about reading the room properly, choosing the right tracks at the right time and keeping the dancefloor moving without it feeling forced.
