How was everyone’s Bank Holiday Weekend?

I had a rather special booking over the weekend… ☺️

I’ve often highlighted two key things that started my mobile DJing career:

1) My involvement with Student Radio at University 📻 🎤
2) Being one of the DJ’s at the end of Summer Annual ‘Shed Party’ during my time on the Summer Staff at Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways from 2011-2016. (Traditionally taking place on the Sunday night of the August Bank Holiday Weekend)🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🚂🎉

The latter had not taken place since 2019, intially due to Covid, but with other issues also cropping up..

However, when news came through earlier this Summer that a revival of this annual
Tradition was on the cards, I lept at the chance to play my part once again. 🙌

I said multiple times in the weeks proceeding that despite a very busy work schedule this summer…’that there was no way I was going to miss this’ 💪

A 240 mile round trip that was worth every mile 🙂. Thank you everyone!

Last Sunday night, we DJ’ed at an event we’ve been very much looking forward to in 2025….

Last weekend, Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways celebrated their Platinum Jubilee since the recommencing of passenger services in 1955 and we were asked to DJ the closing party for the staff and volunteers!

Even getting to DJ in a temporary pub setup just for the event!

An important and memorable occasion for all involved! Thanks for having us! 🚂🎉🍻
