🚨🚨🚨 vaccination rules 🚨🚨🚨
In light of the recent increase of reported cases of equine influenza , the equine infectious diseases action group has recommended that there needs to be a period of increased vigilance and monitoring to help prevent any further spread of the disease.
We do ask for horses/ponies to have a minimum of 2 vaccination if being started again and you must allow a full 7 days after the vaccination before attending.
If your horse/pony has already started we just ask for yearly vaccinations but again we do ask that you must allow a full 7 days after the vaccination before attending.
As of today (Monday 25th May until further notice) :
●Vaccination checks for all horses/ponies. Please bring your horse / pony passports to all shows as we will need to check them before your horse/pony is unloaded.
For any clinics we will be asking for advance checking. Photos of passport front page and vaccination page to be emailed to [email protected]
●Unvaccinated / lapsed horses arriving on site will NOT be allowed to compete and will be asked to leave the premises immediately and no refund for entries will be allowed.
●Horses are NOT to be hand grazed onsite
●Please leave adequate space between vehicles.
●Any droppings on the lorry park are to be picked up and placed in buckets provided.
●Please ensure that horses do not touch or come into contact with any other horse. Our collection ring will be monitored as to how many horses/ponies are in there at one time
●Please do not interact with any of the horses stabled on site or enter the livery yard area.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
