Well thats a wrap on our monthly Summer pop-ups at The Hanging Gate Inn. And what a way to end, serving the Macclesfield Wheelers Hill Climb competitors, spectators and pub customers and finishing on what was a beautiful sunset to end the evening. A massive thank you to everybody who visited us each month as well as the pub and a bigger thank you to Hilary and James for asking us to attend each month.

**Final Weeks of Summer Holidays**
We have taken the decision (not lightly may I add) that for the last couple of weeks of the School holidays we will not be open on Thursdays. We have found it very quiet over the past few weeks (holidays, heat etc.)and feel it beneficial to the business to drop the Thursdays as running costs are extortionate. We will reinstate Thursdays once the holidays are over.
We will be closing at 12pm today due to the heat and it being very quiet. Apologies, we will be back open tomorrow 8.30 until 1:30.

Just a note to all our customers tomorrow.
We will be at our usual spot and do our best to function....but with the forecast being 35degrees we may take the decision to close earlier than normal if it gets unbearable in there. This is mainly for our lunchtime and 1pm customers.

We have a change to our menu for this Friday night at Hanging Gate Inn!
We have heard there is a Hill Climb going ahead, so to ensure we can feed, pub visitors, spectators, and anyone else who may want a bite to eat in a timely manner we have decided to swap out the pies to serve our butchers beef 1/4 pounder burgers with chips. There will also be a chicken burger and Veggie option for those who want it. See you there serving 5 - 8pm this Friday.

Busy weekend last week with a wedding party on the Saturday night, a big congratulations to the happy couple and a massive thank you for letting us feed your guests and then Party in the Park at Cheadle on the Sunday.

How do we prepare for a big event like 'Party in the Park' this weekend???........
by ordering an abundance of fresh, hand pressed, butchers beef quarter pounder burgers, freshly filled 12" butchers sausage, and freshly baked baps and rolls....no bulk frozen food to be seen here.
Even at a busy event we still want to use the same fresh butchers quality we always use on a daily basis on the van.
A huge thank you to our butchers Parkers Butchers for getting our meat prepped and ready.

We have a very busy weekend coming up. We have our usual spot on New Haden Ind. Estate Thursday and Friday. Saturday night we are attending a private wedding and then sunday we will be in attendance at Cheadle's Party in the Park from 1pm until 6pm - this is a free family fun day with lots going on so get yourselves down - unfortunately this does mean we won't be attending the Car Boot on Sunday morning as we will be busy preparing for the big event.
