With Bloomin' Longton plans in my head I've just checked my unopened seed stock - I probably should select some suitable packs for sowing. ( Why do I do it - aspirational?) I haven't even looked in the garden shed yet!
I'd better have a look at the end dates too.

💚 Thrive Hive Support! 💚

⭐️Reaching’s Thrive Hive programme supports adults across North Staffordshire with a range of issues, such as isolation and loneliness, mental health, and Cost of Living support. Holly contacted us recently with multiple support needs, and was referred to Thrive Hive for help. Chatting with the team, she disclosed that she was struggling with her mental health, so with Holly’s consent we assisted with a referral to a local Mental Health support service. Holly also asked for help with a food parcel and as we are a foodbank referral partner, we were able to offer same day support by issuing a foodbank voucher. A benefit check quickly showed that Holly was not receiving the correct benefits, so we gave Holly the information on how to apply for the appropriate benefits, as well as supporting her to register for with the local council for housing.

⭐️Thrive Hive support meant Holly received all the help she needed, as soon as she needed it – no complex referral process or having to go on a waiting list to wait for support.

⭐️Holly left some wonderful feedback for her Thrive Hive Support Worker, Charlie: “Thank you, for the support, you have really helped me, and I am really grateful.”

Probably the most important gift you can give this year, just one or two items to provide a little support for people who are struggling this Christmas. Sweet Treats, are not nutritious generally, but at Christmas children and adults who don't normally have this little luxury really appreciate something a bit special. They still need good nutrition too though. A tin of tuna or cooked meat; breakfast cereal or tea/ coffee are really appreciated. Imagine if a hot cuppa is the only warm food/ drink you will get that day - that is so often the case.
