Lots of brides are opting for a shorter evening dress and it was a pleasure to create a matching neckpiece for this stunning beaded lace dress.
A bespoke commission means hunting down a perfect matched fabric and then creating the exact look the bride has in mind.

Fitting Info

With lots of brides booked in over the next few months I thought it might be useful to share some tips ahead of fittings.

: It is advised that you don’t buy shapewear/underwear prior to your fitting. I can advise you of the correct style and carry an extensive range available to purchase from at the studio. It’s always best to try on styles with the dress to check for a perfect fit. No pinching, riding or bulging is the brief!

: Worried about support if you can’t wear a bra?
I’ve got it covered with options including pads, gel boosters, taping and even the option of sewing the skeleton of a bra into your dress.

: Trust the process.. when you arrive your dress may feel overwhelming now that you have come away from the bridal store. Bridal boutiques often use a box for you to stand on which means when that is not there you may feel swamped in fabric . Once the dress is shortened it’s literally a game changer!

: Wear minimal make up to fittings. You will be provided with dressing gloves as the temptation is always to touch the beautiful fabric. Satin and crepe styles can mark really easily so together we will treat your dress with care at every step.

: Lots of ladies arrive nervous and that’s completely normal. My ultimate job is to make you feel confident and ensure your dress fits perfectly. From the first consultation you will be given a clear plan of the work needed and the reassurance that everything will be possible.

Hope those little tips are helpful and please feel to ask anything either ahead of fittings or during the consultations.
Nothing is a silly question and I have most likely been asked it many times before 🤍

Sleeve perfection on this elegant gown.
Heavy corded lace sleeves that fit like a dream and finish at the perfect length....not at the wrist, but that little bit lower and framing the hand. Ready for some gorgeous ring shots .

On busy fitting days she will be with me to ensure all bridal appointments run smoothly and on the remaining days will be available for treatments in her beauty studio on the upper floor.
