Issy & Jack

It’s hard to know what else to say about this wedding, other than incredible!

It was the first time I’d worked at Town Head Estate and what a gem of a venue it is; I arrived nice and early to scout and walk the ground and I was really blown away by it all. Once I’d got settled in, I headed to the bridal suite and met Issy and the girls and they were on great form. There’s some advice that get’s passed around which is that your guests will mirror the energy that the couple put out - well Issy and the girls were dancing and singing all the way to the ceremony and that vibe flowed all day long.

Issy looked stunning with both her hair and makeup and her dress, and by the time it was time for the ceremony she truly blew Jack and the guests away. On the flip side, Jack and the boys were looking truly dapper in their black tie and suits and they were laughing and joking keeping everyone on their toes too.

The ceremony took place outside (the first for Town Head this year) and the backdrop of Lake Windermere in the glorious sunshine set the scene. As they said their I do’s surrounded by family and friends, there was truly no stopping the smiles as everyone began to celebrate.

Their drinks reception in the Kitchen Gardens was fantastic and as guests later headed back to the orchard by the venue, we grabbed some group photos back in the ceremony area before going everyone for confetti and heading off for couple portraits.

The wedding breakfast and speeches were wonderful but it wasn’t long before we headed back out to catch the last of the sunshine with the couple down by the lake - then it was time to meet the donkeys. One cheeky donkey even managed to take a bite out of Jack’s suit jacket!

The evening was every bit as fun and action-packed as everyone hit the dance floor the the mind-blowing sounds provided by their band and the party just kept going.

Ruchi & Sam

First wedding of 2026 and what an incredible day to start with! Ruchi, Sam, their family and friends took over the stunning Canford School to celebrate their big day and it was the most incredible backdrop for them to become husband and wife.

With the couple both being huge fans of both Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, you could see exactly why they had chosen the venue as it gave all the vibes of Hogwarts, their wedding breakfast and evening party were held in the main hall which looks like it was straight from the films.

Their ceremony was beautiful and full of colour and smiles, the only shame was how fast that part of the day went! The sun was out so we made the most of the grounds to capture groups and some portraits before they made their entrance for their wedding breakfast. They had everyone on their feet cheering and that mood just kept going long into the night.

Ruchi managed a couple of dress changes, appearing in traditional dress for the sparklers then a real party outfit to dance the night away. What a day!!

THANK YOU 2025!

It’s been an amazing year and I can’t thank everyone enough for giving me the chance to capture so many moments for a living.

Thank you to every couple that has booked and put their trust in me to photograph their wedding this year, I will never take this for granted. Every time I have been looked after and treated like part of the family and never once felt like a supplier looking in from the outside.

To the friends and family of those couples, you have all been a joy to photograph, never too shy to smile for the camera or gather for the moments we’ve needed to grab.

To all the venues, with some I feel like part of the furniture having been so many times, others I have been to for the first time, but with all I have been welcomed and looked after amazingly.

To all the dress-makers, hair and makeup stylists, caterers, florists, cake-makers, bands, DJ’s and anyone else I have met and worked alongside - YOU have created the magic for me to photograph and every single wedding wouldn’t have been what it was without you.

To the videographers and photographers who I have worked with and around - again, it’s been such a joy. We have the shared view of the day and know how many things we’ve had to worry and deal with in order to make sure we capture everything in the absolute best way possible - and we’ve shared more than a few giggles together, which always makes the day even more enjoyable.

I’m signing off and wishing everyone the most amazing Christmas - eat, drink and be very merry; we’re doing it again next year!

Kate & Nathan

This was one hell of a way to end the wedding season for me; this couple set the bar high from the engagement session earlier in the year and their wedding lived up to all the expectations!

A stunning crisp and frosty morning at the stunning Swynford Manor in Newmarket provided the most stunning venue for them to get married and celebrate in style. The morning prep was calm and beautiful…well the bridal side was anyway! Nathan and the boys were a blur but were really excited and having the couples’ dogs along for a portion of the day was amazing too.

Kate looked incredible and truly blew Nathan away as she walked down the aisle, joyful tears flowed as the couple tied the knot and then the celebrations began. We got lucky with some gorgeous winter sun for the guests to join us outside for photos and once the room was revealed, everyone took their seats for the meal and some memorable speeches.

Every stage of the day was like a step up in tempo, the couple promised there would be a lot for their guests to get involved in, and they weren’t wrong! Beer Pong, Roulette, an arcade machine and a caricaturist meant that those not dancing were fully entertained and it was amazing.

Eve & Andrew

Mid-August saw an incredible summer’s day for this amazing couple celebrating their wedding at Caswell House.

Eve spent the morning beaming from ear-to-ear with excitement for the day ahead and that enthusiasm and energy quickly rubbed off on all the guests and suppliers too!

They had their ceremony in front of the Loggia archway, with their guests basking in glorious sunshine and the ‘I do’s’ were perfect.

As the drinks reception took shape, we nipped away into the gardens to make the most of the shade In order to capture the formal group photos, then we whisked Eve & Andrew away for some portraits before they rejoined their party to eat and celebrate further.

The evening began with a session of sunset portraits as we were then joined by the bridal party and some fizz - apparently it’s not advisable to get any in your eyes!

Once the music began, the dance floor quickly filled and you could tell that everyone was determined to make the most of every moment and keep the party going right until the very end.

Holly & Henry

Sometimes I sit and think about how lucky I am to cross paths with some people, and how lucky I am to have this job. This was certainly one of those cases!

Following their enquiry and booking, I met this amazing couple in Richmond Park towards the start of the year on a lovely crisp and cold winter’s day. We had so much fun and I just knew their wedding would be such an amazing day, and I was totally right!

This was not only one of the best weddings, but also one of the largest I’d captured with close to 180 guests - not only was it a celebration for them to actually become husband and wife, but a chance for them to spend time with their loved ones before they left the UK to live and work in Australia, so drinks flowed and the party was fierce.

The setting for their day was Copdock Hall, near Ipswich, and they provided the most amazing setting for everyone to enjoy it. St Peter’s Church is set literally across the field from the venue and it was glorious with a pretty entertaining vicar. The team at Copdock were amazing and truly laid on the best day for everyone.

Emily & Ross

What a wedding this one was - so much fun!!

Emily and the girls brought all the energy and colour with the most amazing selection of dresses, with Ross and the boys looking super dapper in their blue suits too.

Following the morning preparation at the nearby Sandburn Hall, we all headed over to St Mary’s Church in Sand Hutton for a gorgeous ceremony where the couple officially became husband and wife. Then it was time to celebrate.

I broke away from the guests with the couple to get over to the reception venue early so that we could be taken out to the adjoining woodland and wow, it was spectacular. With the tall pines and lush ferns, the couple looked incredible - then it was time to head back and get partying.

White Syke Fields has rocketed up my list to become one of my favourite venues, the setting is perfect for everything! The main barns are huge and looked stunning when styled and there’s so much to see and do there.

The rest of the day was so amazing - with space hopping, cocktail making and a whole heap of other activities, before the evening exploded into a feast of colour and energy.

Sally & Callum

Back to Swancar for the first time this year and what a joy it was - Sally and the girls were so excited and as Callum and the boys joined the laughter and smiles became contagious.

With hair and makeup looking fantastic, Sally had a reveal with her bridesmaids and mum before getting her father in for a first look and he was truly blown away with how gorgeous his little girl looked on her wedding day. In the meantime, Callum had felt almost every emotion after opening his gifts from his bride-to-be - some of which were really personal and heartfelt.

Their ceremony was beautiful, and the couple soon left the ceremony to a blizzard of confetti and the celebrations were then well and truly underway. Some group photos and couple portraits during the drinks reception were the perfect setup for their wedding breakfast.

Following a wonderful feast, we headed out with the couple for a few more portraits ahead of the first dance, and you could just tell how much they were both enjoying the day - it was non-stop laughing all the way.

Their dancefloor was filled and as they boogied the night away, I headed off feeling such a sense of fortune to be able to enjoy days like this.

Engagement Sessions

What a year it's been so far for these sessions, getting to meet and spend time with my couples is always a pleasure. So far I've been into London, all over the Cotswolds, and even Snowdonia.

As wedding season is now in full flow, I'm having to space them out, but I've still got some fantastic dates in the diary!
