THROWBACK THURSDAY - SUMMER BREEZE 2015

Summer Breeze is an award winning, annually held over 30s Soul Holiday held on the first week of June in Corfu. This year’s event held on 1st-8th June is our twelfth Soul Holiday.

2015 was our second event. The line-up included our returning heroes… James Anthony, Frostie, Ian Charles, Mick Foster, Rob James and Pete James along with Peter Symphorien aka Soulman once again entertaining the crowd. The line-up was augmented by the addition of Brian Jay, Des Grant, Winni Buddz, DJ ‘S’ from Greece, Steve Lane, Rocky, Kazzie D, Mark Leonard, Andrea Robertson and Georgie B performing live.

From the very start our ethos was and remains about inclusivity in a friendly and welcoming environment. With this in mind, over the years we have welcomed numerous solo travellers
and newbies and we attempt to entertain them and give them the best holiday we can. It’s said by many that at Summer Breeze whether you come with your friend or partner or you are a solo traveller you leave with 400 new friends.

From year one we have had a team of polite friendly security and knowledgeable, helpful reps. In 2015 Jo Guest began her journey with us. Paul Hodson took the photos and still does, while Chris Anderson, our videographer had another year of merrymaking before joining the ranks as our roving videographer the following year!

2015 was also the year that we began attracting a global crowd, with Soul fans from the US, France and Germany joining us. While our reach in the UK took in guests from Scotland and every corner of England. And significantly for Summer Breeze the year that the first of our Manchester crowd appeared at the event…
