One of the best day scenes Spalding has seen for many years. Thank you for making some bleak days feel great. Just watching you all playing so well each week has been a treat, thinking about nothing but football! Relaxing away from work and to see this just couldn’t make you feel more happy. I hope the boys are still on cloud 9 xx well done to so many volunteers who work hard all week to make the day amazing each time ###

*N E W S U P D A T E*
We know that safety and security is a top priority for local people so we’re pleased to let you know that we’re investing in a new approach in the town.

New community support officers will be recruited by the council to play a crucial role focused on enforcement, gathering intelligence, working with partners, and signposting people to services.

And, we’ll also be working with a flexible private provide patrol service that will give cover in the short term and during busy times.

We’ve worked together with partners to develop this new approach which will build on the hotspot policing scheme. Further details will be confirmed and we expect the new model to begin in the coming months.

Our Chair Robin Hancox said: “We fully understand how important it is that people are able to enjoy and experience the town centre safely. It’s a priority for the community and it’s a priority for us too.”

Cllr Nick Worth, Leader of South Holland District Council said: “I am delighted that we will be continuing to build on the momentum achieved by Hot Spot Policing in making people feel safer when they are in Spalding Town Centre along with reducing anti-social behaviour.”

🛶 Spalding Sea Cadets recruiting now 🛶

Our new recruits have successfully moved up to their next rank.

We are now recruiting for Junior cadets aged 10-12 and Senior cadets aged 12 and over.

Location- Cadet hut, Pinchbeck road entrance of Castle Sport car park.
Day/Time- Friday's 1850-2100
