I’m incredibly proud to share that Carlton Films is now a Recommended Supplier for 2026 at the beautiful Commissioner’s House & Gardens at The Historic Dockyard Chatham 🤍

After an incredible restoration, this stunning venue is preparing to reopen its doors — and from everything I’ve seen and heard, it’s going to be something truly special.

Commissioner’s House is one of those venues that feels full of history and character the moment you arrive, and now it’s been thoughtfully refreshed with beautiful spaces designed for modern weddings and celebrations. From the elegant rooms inside the house, to courtyard ceremonies and the brand new glass Orangery, it’s easy to imagine how magical a wedding day here will feel.

A huge thank you to the incredible Chloe Wilson and the whole team for such a warm welcome and for trusting Carlton Films as one of your recommended suppliers. It genuinely means so much to work alongside people who care so deeply about creating an amazing experience for their couples.

Venues like this work so beautifully with the natural, story-led way I approach filming — allowing moments to unfold naturally while capturing the atmosphere, emotion and energy of the day in a way couples can relive for years to come.

I honestly cannot wait to see this venue come back to life and hopefully capture some incredible weddings here in the near future.

✨ Highlight Film – Louise + Jamie | Brookfield Barn ✨

Louise & Jamie’s wedding day at the beautiful was one of those celebrations where every moment felt genuine and full of heart 🤍

From the excitement of the morning through to a ceremony filled with emotion, the entire day unfolded in the most relaxed and joyful way. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Louise and Jamie created a celebration that felt completely true to them — warm, fun, and overflowing with love.

As the day moved into the evening, the atmosphere only grew stronger. Laughter echoed across the lake, music filled the barn, and the dance floor came alive as everyone celebrated these two incredible people beginning their next chapter together.

And of course, their much-loved dog Frankie made a very special appearance too — instantly stealing hearts and bringing even more smiles to an already perfect day 🐾

It was such a pleasure to work alongside an amazing team of suppliers who helped everything run so seamlessly, especially who is always brilliant to collaborate with.

A wedding centred on what truly matters 🤍

Chloe & Kieran’s day began with a heartfelt ceremony at St John’s in Shirley, where their children played such a meaningful part in blessing the rings. It was one of those powerful reminders that weddings aren’t just about two people — they’re about the family you build and the love that surrounds you.

The celebrations then continued at the beautiful , where the atmosphere was warm, relaxed and completely filled with joy. Every hug felt tighter, every laugh louder, every moment genuine.

This wasn’t about extravagance — it was about connection. Closest friends. Proud parents. Children watching on. A room full of people who truly care. And that kind of energy is always a privilege to film.

It was a pleasure to work alongside again and collaborate with such a brilliant supplier team who helped the whole day flow seamlessly.

✨ Highlight Film – Charlotte + Jack | Villiers Barn ✨

What better time to share this beautiful wedding than Valentine’s Day 🤍

Charlotte & Jack’s day at the stunning was filled with the kind of love that feels effortless and deeply genuine. From the moment Charlotte walked down the aisle to Jack’s smile waiting for her, you could feel just how much this meant — not just to them, but to everyone there.

There were heartfelt speeches, huge laughs, quiet emotional moments, and of course their adorable four-legged guest making a special appearance 🐾 The atmosphere was warm, joyful and completely relaxed… and let’s just say no one got out of there without a shot or two to round off a perfect day 🥂

Villiers Barn provided the most beautiful backdrop — full of character and run by such a brilliant team. The whole day flowed seamlessly thanks to an incredible group of suppliers working together behind the scenes.

It was a real pleasure working alongside for the first time — professional, creative and such a great team to collaborate with.

And Charlotte looked absolutely stunning thanks to the talented , whose work complemented the whole elegant feel of the day perfectly.

There are wedding days that quietly leave their mark — and Chloe & Taylor’s was one of those.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Leez Priory, their day unfolded so naturally. Full of laughter, quiet glances, emotional vows, and the moments that matter most — the ones you feel rather than hear.

This highlight film is all about connection. The way they look at each other. The warmth of the people around them. The emotion that builds through the day and carries through to an unforgettable evening of celebration. A huge part of that was down to the incredible storytelling during the ceremony — beautifully led by Chloe Green, whose words brought so much meaning, personality, and heart to the day, and translated so powerfully into film.

Megan & Matt — what an absolute honour it was to capture your wedding day 💛

From the very first moment, it was clear this would be something truly special. The love between you, the way you made everyone feel welcome (myself included!), and the atmosphere you created together was just incredible.

Every part of the day flowed with such genuine warmth — from emotional speeches and joyful moments, to that amazing entrance from the boys, and a party to remember. I’m truly proud to have been a part of it all, and creating your highlight film has been a real labour of love.

It was such a joy to capture this lovely couple’s wedding at the ever-beautiful , a venue that never fails to impress. Natalie & Peter were a dream from start to finish — so kind, so welcoming, and completely wrapped up in the joy of the day. You could feel the love from the very first moment, and it was a real privilege to be there to capture it all.

It was also such a pleasure to work alongside the incredibly talented once again — Maria, you are always such a joy to team up with, and your energy and creativity helped make everything run so smoothly.

As a recommended supplier at Alfriston Gardens, I’m always so grateful to return. The gardens, the light, the flow of the space — it’s a filmmaker’s dream. Yasmin & Alex’s wedding was simply unforgettable — a day filled with elegance, love, and so much joy, set against the stunning backdrop of .

From the emotional ceremony and heartfelt speeches to the confetti moment, a tux-wearing dog, and the most incredible couple at the heart of it all — it was a true celebration of everything that makes weddings so special.

With just 10 days to go until Christmas, I honestly couldn’t think of a better time to share this festive little sneak peek from Hayley & Garry’s magical day at the ever-beautiful 🎄💫

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel so welcome by not only the lovely couple but all of their wonderful guests — especially those I had the pleasure of sitting with for the wedding breakfast (thank you for the laughs and warm company!). Hayley & Garry, the love between you was so clear to see, and it was a true joy to capture your story.

It was such a pleasure to work alongside so many familiar faces again — the incredibly talented Chloe who ran the day with such care and attention, and did the most fantastic job from start to finish.

A real highlight was getting to work with some absolute stars in the industry once again — my friend Derek , who captured the day so beautifully, Nelson who brought the surprise entertainment to life in style, and of course Ben , who had the dancefloor covered all night long.

And let’s not forget the setting itself — filming again at The Old Kent Barn is always a privilege. It’s one of those venues that just feels like home: warm, welcoming, and run by such an exceptional team. Every single detail of the day was stunning.
