A recently formed band with a great line up. We are anticipating agreat night of 'our type of jazz'.

Note: A Mississippi Mudbug is what we would know as a Crayfish. It lives in the muddy shores of the Mississippi river, hence it's name.

A really terrific night with Alan Gresty's Ragtimers on Thursday (12/6/25) with surprise guest 'King of The Stride Piano' NEVILLE DICKIE. The full line up was ALAN GRESTY (Leader) - Trumpet, ALASTAIR ALLEN - Trombone, JOHN ELLMER - Clarinet and Alto Sax, JOHN ARTHY - Bass, JOHN WATSON - Drums and NEVILLE DICKIE - Piano. There were so many good numbers, including a lovely solo rendition of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by ALASTAIR ALLEN and two sensational Boogie Woogie numbers from NEVILLE DICKIE however, I have chosen a solo piece by JOHN ELLMER featuring NEVILLE DICKIE and JOHN WATSON. Listen to and enjoy "Stealing Apples".
