✨A little bit about me✨
I've had a little flurry of followers lately so wanted to write a little post to say 🌞HI🌞 and explain a little about what I do.

I run Gaia Kitchen from my home in Shrewsbury, I have my garden and my allotment to enjoy and quite honestly in more recent years living my life in nature and according to the seasons has been the most enlightening, spiritual and grounding choice I ever made in my life.

Since my early 20s I yearned for a garden, living in London I could barely keep a pot of lavender alive with all the pollution, I used to travel home and wait till I saw green before I ate my sandwich on the train for example!

Fast forward many years and I started experimenting with seed sowing and potatoes in pots. Things really took a turn when I acquired my greenhouse in the garden. After 18 months I was finally at the top of the list for an allotment and this really changed my life. It brought me out of darkness in myself and gave me something real to focus on.

So now I share my produce with people who believe in my work, I work with the seasons and create meals that reflect the time of year we are in.

I have always felt like I was able to draw power from the earth and harness that power into ingredients, which in turn becomes beautiful dishes. When we treat plants with respect, time and patience, they provide us with what we need when we need it. The process of this and the energy you feel is magic.

You can catch me at the local farmers market, take part in my ready meals delivery scheme or enjoy my seasonal wheel of the year focused takeaways. I'm usually making food every week so there's plenty of chance to sample what I do.

I also cater private events and retreats when called to do so, I particularly enjoy feeding groups of people with seasonal nourish bowls to feel the full flow of energy during a spiritual event ✨.

So here I am, at my plot, enjoying the fruits of my labour and listening to the bees and the birds.

Here's a list of where you can find me in the run up to the end of 2026.
I absolutely love this cyclical change, partly because it leans into Virgo season which is my birth mont. Harvests are ripe and the earth is beginning to sigh a sense of release as we move into darker months.

The peak of summer. What a beautiful time of year.
The colour, warmth and depth of nature is in full splendour.
We begin to process the fruits of our labour.
Process, preserve, ferment and create.
It's a time to capture the sun in your food. To hold it tight and carry forward as the nights slowly begin to draw in.
It keeps me steady, grounded and offers a sense of safety to be with the seasons. To be nature as we all are.

Another turn of the wheel, another feast is upon us!
I feel like hardly any time has passed since we celebrated the Solstice 6 weeks ago and here we are celebrating the first harvest and the beautiful time we are in which is Lammas!

It felt like neverending heat this year and the sun has been so incredibly powerful. I've tended my land as best I could and watered every day. It's been tough and things are in some places slow on the uptake but I am starting to feel the rewards of my labour and I'd love to share that with you.

More homegrown ingredients than ever so far this year! Home made and produced with care and intention.
