It’s been a busy week in the flower field most of my time spent picking, planting out, deadleading, weeding, sowing more seeds and dodging the downpours as well as hosting a photo shoot for Coes & Golding. Here are a few snippets:

With all this rain the flower field is looking lush and colourful, full of unusual flowers you won’t find in your local supermarket or flower shop. I still have spaces on my June Events so why not indulge yourself in a few hours of flowery fun either on your own or with friends and family. There will of course be tea / coffee and cake afterwards.

Earlier this month I hosted a wonderful hen party. The hens started with an hour of Pilates, picked a small bucket of flowers each and finished off their afternoon with tea, coffee, cake and bubbles. I think their smiles say it all.

If you have a group and would like to do something similar please do get in touch. Otherwise in June I will be running the following events:

With this hot weather the flowers are coming thick and fast. Here are a few of the bunches leaving the Flower Field this morning. It really is my favourite time of year as the meadow type flowers come into their own. Are you team cornflower or sweet pea? X

Good morning all,

I have now added Summer and Autumn workshops to my website. I will be running PYO, Pilates and PYO and a new Gather and Create workshop where after picking your flowers you will have the opportunity to create a vase arrangement. All in small groups with plenty of tea / coffee and cake.

I am hoping to hoping to add some last minute pop up PYOs and Workshops once the flowers are a bit more established.

I can’t believe it’s May already. As I haven’t posted much on the grid recently I thought I’d show you some of the bunches, bouquets and DIY buckets that went out in April. A lovely mix of tulips, ranunculus, Icelandic poppies, anemones, lilac and the first of the sweet peas.

If you are planning a wedding or event for this year or next and would like some flowers please do get in touch. I’m good at last minute but my order book is filling fast.

Good morning all, a big thank you for everyone who came and supported me with PYO tulips and Pilates and PYO tulips over the last two weekends.

It was great to see familiar faces and lots of new ones too. There was chat about not only tulips but everything I grow plus how to keep tulips straight for those who don’t always like a wonky stem - The pin prick below the head or a 2p piece in the bottom of the jar, Subscription flowers and where to get vases. And there was a lot of tea and cake consumed.

I spent the whole time telling everyone about the gorgeous smelling tulip in this photo called Foxy Foxtrot only to discover when I was picking them last night that they are in fact called crème upstair! Apologies for that.

I will post here when my summer and autumn workshops and PYO are on my website.

Enjoy the sunshine but let’s hope for a bit of rain too x

Some lovely flowers picked this morning for . These will be bunched up, wrapped in brown paper, tied up with string and delivered first thing tomorrow (Friday).

I will be picking again this evening so if you’d like a bunch for the weekend please do let me know.

The tulips are looking so lovely I’ve added another PYO date for tomorrow afternoon (Saturday 11th). There are also a few spaces in the morning slot too 🌷
