One of the many extra features that impresses me when I am the Celebrant for a funeral or celebration of life at H D Tribe Ltd Funeral Directors.

Bereavement, grief and loss can cause many different emotional responses and affect people in different ways.

You may feel shock, anger, numbness, exhaustion, some may feel a sense of guilt. If you are finding it hard to accept the death of a loved one HD Tribe are able to offer you a free Bereavement Counselling service with a qualified Psychotherapist specialising in bereavement and loss.

These burials involve using only biodegradable materials and often involve planting a tree at the site to mark the grave or using a wooden biodegradable head stone. 💚

The Celebration of Life was held at the excellent H D Tribe Ltd Funeral Directors chapel in Shoreham by Sea.

I am delighted to see a team with the expertise of H D Tribe Ltd Funeral Directors can now provide this service to people - my diploma studies included burials and ash scattering at sea choices so I can act as your celebrant and officiant.

Many West Sussex residents have a profound connection to the sea and, as such, wish to be buried at sea. These types of funerals require more planning and formalities than funerals on land but we can undertake all those arrangements for you.

For those who wish to be buried at sea, we can now offer a full funeral service, taking care of all the paperwork, licences, boat hire, etc and burial off Newhaven, one of only two locations where burials at sea can take place.

Because of the unpredictability of the weather, we always arrange an alternative date for the burial at sea in case the funeral has to be cancelled. On the day, up to 6 members of the family can accompany the coffin and be present for the burial.
