Mother’s Day is always the busiest, most beautiful whirlwind at Ginger Lily. But this year, the bustle feels a little different.

As I spend this week surrounded by blooms intended for your mums, my heart is very much with my own. This Monday marks one year since she passed—a milestone that feels both like a lifetime and just a heartbeat ago.

I’ve always said that flowers speak when words fail. Today, they are my way of staying connected to her. To everyone visiting the shop this week: thank you for letting me be a part of your celebrations. And to those, like me, who are navigating this day with a quiet ache—I see you, and I’m sending so much love your way.

Firstly - Happy Valentine's, Galentine's or just plain Saturday!
However you celebrate today, I'm glad you chose us for your flowers.

Secondly - whether it was a monster, a mini or our lovely mixed midi's - wow!! You guys are so wonderful. Whether you ordered with plenty of time, just in time or completely last minute - Thank You so much for the support. What fun!!

To my amazing team in the shop and on the hop - this has been - By Far - the most chilled Valentine's ever! The vibe was so good all day - hell - all week! You guys are rockstars, love you and are so grateful for you.

Here is a little snapshot of our day.

Now happily exhausted, resting in my slippers with a cuppa (for some, I imagine there may be something a little stronger).
