A full weekend of Christmas festivities in the village starting next week!

Saturday 6th- ‘Dance in the Pews’! A night of live music from Blue John! Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm kick off! Lots of fizz and mulled wine awaits!

Sunday 7th! Christmas tractor run! 3pm meet for 3.30pm departure from outside of The C**k and Pullet! (Keep your eyes out for the special guest! 👀🎅🏻)

🎄🎄One more for the diary! Call by and see our lovely little church lit up for Christmas! The trees will be decorated and lit from the Saturday the 13th December until early January. 🎄🎄

Thank you to everyone who has supported this mornings event! A total of £587.30 has been raised for the village church! Which is amazing!

Did you know that Sheldon’s village hall (the Hartington memorial hall) is available for hire? Either as a regular booking or a one off Hire! Very reasonable rates.

The hall is perfect for many uses! Private functions, meetings, a warm office space, small children’s parties, group gatherings. It is currently hired by local Art groups and a Pilates class.

The hall offers-
-WiFi
-Kitchen area
-Accessible toilets
-Tables & chairs

Why not source local catering for your event? Or even pop a few doors down for a lunch break at The C**k and Pullet.

🌟WOW!🌟what a week it was! Please see below the TOTAL amounts raised on the day! What a huge achievement!

Sheldon Fell Race- £1135.00

Sheldon Day 2025- £3959.10

Sheldon Tractor Run £410.00

(all proceeds from This Years tractor run are going straight to the playing field funds to help purchase new swings).

A huge thankyou to everyone for making this possible and to everyone who attends and supports Sheldon Village! All proceeds from these events after costs go straight back into the village! (Village hall, playing field, Church).

We can’t wait to see you all again next year!
