Only 2 days left until at the amazing .co.uk

Since opening last year Not Open; Don’t Come has cemented itself as a staple in Sheffield’s night life. Serving a delicious range of wines, beers and ciders, NO;DC has broken the mould for the pretentious modern wine bars, creating a uniquely welcoming space in the heart of the city.

Since our unplugged event last year we’ve been itching to be back, and we cannot wait to see the space in full swing this Sunday.

A handful of workshop tickets are still available, link is in our bio x

ART OF SOUND .co.uk

Join us at NO;DC for Art of Sound: a creative project that delves into the intricate relationship between electronic music and visual art.

We invite you to join us in a space that explores the ways that sounds, experiences, or feelings can be translated into a fixed medium. We’ll be hosting a workshop, inviting participants to share their records and a bit about them, as we draw, collage, or paint a visual accompaniment to the sounds and the feelings they inspire. Paper and equipment will be supplied, but please feel free to bring your own if you’d like.

Following the workshop we’ll be opening the space up for an intimate after party, featuring delivering a live radio show, talking us through and sharing the vast range of genres and musical styles that make up their sound, followed by a b2b drenched in dubby, low slung house, disco and electro from and to round off the night.

Very limited tickets available for the work shop so grab your tickets early to avoid missing out - link in bio.

Roots 3, ‘talkin bout a revolution’.

In light of evenings soirée we proudly present talks from some of Sheffield’s incredible local activists, as they set out plans for fighting power from above, building power from the ground up, and our vision for a fairer, sustainable future- full of love, respect and united strength in our community.

They will be spreading the good word, fighting the good fight against fascism and other higher powers hindering our communities and daily lives.

At .sheffield Sheffield we strengthen the solidarity economy network, by supporting and connecting existing projects and creating new ones. We reject the state and capitalism’s monopoly on power and we build an alternative system to support self governance. Underpinning our work is a commitment to rejecting dominance culture and building a culture of collective care. So far we have run multiple community assemblies across Sheffield - bringing together communities to have their say over local issues. We have also started finding alternative ways to meet our material needs including a Food Buyers Cooperative in Broomhall and a community garden in Upperthorpe.

SCARF - Sheffield communities against racism & fascism is an autonomous antifascist group, and part of a broader network of such groups, working to confront fascism wherever it appears - in both Sheffield and beyond.

is a member-led organisation standing up for our housing rights. By getting organised to demand safe, affordable and habitable homes, we build power and solidarity across our communities. Our recent campaigns have included supporting a community to fight rent increases and developing resources to challenge landlords over mouldy homes. Get involved and help us grow the movement!

Roots 3 welcomes 🫶

Immigration raids are used by the Home Office to terrorise and intimidate racialised people up and down the UK as part of the hostile environment.

Anti Raids Sheffield is a group working to build community resistance to these raids in our city and beyond, fighting for a world where everyone is welcome regardless of where they were born.

You can visit their stall to find out what this looks like in practice and how you can play a part, plus pick up some sick anarchist stickers, prints, tshirts, and more.

Tickets, including community tickets, are available via the link in bio. This event is not-for-profit and will directly support Sheffield based anti-fascist organisations.

We’ll see you there

Roots 3- Revolution 🌌

We’re back!

In just 3 weeks time, Thursday 26th March, we’ll be taking over , growing roots once more in our beautiful Sheffield community.

We also have an array of sustainable stalls gracing the foyer when you arrive including sustainable clothing and art prints for you to peruse while enjoying some soothing live music by candle light.
