A year of transition and new beginnings for me!

Some tough times but some absolute joy too, so here’s a little review of some of my floral highlights ❤️

When you think you’re not creative enough for a wreath making workshop…

Planning finishing touches for this year’s workshops has got me reminiscing to last year’s beauts!

People come in, and I’ll always hear things like “I’m not the creative one”, “I’ve never made anything in my life”, I already know mine will be rubbish!”

It might be new for you, and something a bit different, but you’ll be so glad you did it! Plus, a nice glass of wine or two helps to get the creativity flowing 🥂😂

Trust the process, look at the results!

It all started with a wreath ✨

Did you know my journey started with a Christmas wreath workshop?

Feeling tired and burnt out from work and life (par for the course at this time of year!), I saw my wedding florist was running some Christmas wreath making evenings.
So I asked a few of the girls if they wanted to do it (two birds, one stone) and off we went on a dark and dreary night in early December...

It was so much fun! I loved all the beautiful smelling foliage of the eucalyptus and pine, and getting lost in something for a couple of hours was just what I needed!

To be honest, I had no idea if I’d be any good at it, or like what I made, and if I’m honest one of my friend’s was loads better than mine 😂 but it was so nice taking that time for us, making memories, and who knew I’d pick up the floral bug!

If you fancy giving it a go, I’ll be doing a couple of dates at and another at .sheffield and they’re the perfect backdrop for those special festive memories with the girls, or those close to you ✨

Made from lots of foraged goodies like bracken ferns, birch branches, and wild clematis. Some lovely dried gyp, lace ferns and feather grass adding some cloudy, snowy vibes 🍂🤍

All the earthy tones 🤎

The large proteas in this bunch from one of our large subscriptions this month are my fave!
They work so well with so many textures and other natural colours, the perfect feature flower 🌺

This bunch also features some ivory dried babala, a bunch of ivory hill flowers, Amaranthus ‘yeaming desert’ stems, dried natural flax, and a beautiful wild pampas stem 🌾

So it’s been a while!! A little break from the gram has been very much needed…
Moving house along with some personal bits have knocked me a bit more than I had planned!
Headspace for Instagram has just not been there, but I’m getting there, and this beaut has been an absolute joy! Full reveal to come…

A belated but very happy New Year 🙌🏼🥂

There was a lot going on before Christmas! Not only is it by far the busiest time for me, but the hubby was ill so we had to cancel a few plans for nice festive things which was a shame! You spend a lot of time spreading festivities and we didn’t get to do much ourselves 😂
Present buying and prepping wasn’t as organised as I’d have hoped, but we were done by Christmas Eve! 😅

Another thing going on behind the scenes (and the reason for the pic) is a major house move! Some of you will already know this, but New Year I thought was a perfect time to get it out there 🙌🏼 we’re off to Sheffield! For us it will be a lifestyle overhaul, as Joe works up North for most of the week which can get difficult at times. So we’re really excited to get some sort of life and routine back! It obviously comes with some sad elements too, but I know it will make such a difference to our lives ❤️

Anyway, essay over! I’m still here, and I’ll be creating a fab new studio at the new house! So exciting things to come…
