These funeral flowers were created following a home funeral consultation with the family, where I had the privilege of hearing all about the gentleman they were remembering.

They told me about his favourite flowers, his wife’s favourite flowers and the little details that were important to them. I listened and took all of this into consideration when creating his flowers, choosing colours and designs that felt personal and meaningful to the family.

From the sunflower wreath and colourful heart to the larger coffin spray, each tribute was created especially for him. 🌻💜

AND JUST LIKE THAT… WE’VE MADE IT TO THE FINISH LINE!

The school shoes are ready, the bags are packed and today the girls are officially BACK TO SCHOOL! 🎉😂

This summer has been one big juggling act balancing work, admin, calls, messages and funeral orders, while also trying to give the girls a fun summer and actually enjoy some proper time together. ❤️

There have been plenty of “squeeze in the car girls, we’ve got funeral flowers to deliver” moments 😂, fitting admin in wherever I could and keeping Blossom Hill ticking along around two very active girls!

It definitely hasn’t all been perfectly balanced… but we made memories, got the work done and WE MADE IT TO THE FINISH LINE!

So this one’s for all the parents who have somehow survived the summer holidays…

WE. MADE. IT. 😂🥂

Now… back to school for the girls and three weeks’ worth of admin waiting patiently for me! 🤣

And just like that… the holiday is over and the florist is back in the shed! ✌️

A little round-up of some of my favourite photos from our week in Wales, the things I actually wanted to take pictures of rather than being in Mum Mode!

Beautiful views, good food, flowers, fairy villages… and of course the cows. I think the cows may have been one of my favourite parts! 🤣

The shed has had a deep clean, I’m feeling refreshed and Blossom Hill Floral Design is officially OPEN again from today! 🌸

I’ve still got about three weeks of admin to catch up on but I’ll be tackling that properly on Wednesday when the girls are back at school.

And there’s also an exciting little project happening behind the scenes… 🤫👀

A little look back at Tuesday’s adventure in Wales 🌿

We spent the day exploring Newton House and its beautiful grounds — and of course, we couldn’t visit without stopping to admire some of the flowers inside too 🌸

Me and Nan even managed to find the fairy village! 🧚‍♀️ Definitely one of the highlights of the day.

Just making the most of our time in Wales, exploring, enjoying some family time and giving the florist a well-earned break from the shed!

It’s those little personal touches that can make a tribute feel truly about the person being remembered. 💙

This morning’s walk looked a little different to our usual walks back home! 🥰

Fresh Welsh air, beautiful views, the dog enjoying every second… and even a few cows along the way! 🐶🐄😂

Properly switching off, spending time with my family and enjoying our little Welsh adventure.

Sometimes you just need to slow down and enjoy it. ❤️

I’ll be having my very first ever stall at the Iwade Food & Craft Fayre! 🥰🌿

I’ll be bringing along some fresh bunches of beautiful flowers, along with some lovely bits for you to browse and take home. 💐🌸🌿

This is a really exciting (and slightly nerve-wracking!) milestone for me, as it will be my first ever stall at an event! 🥹❤️

So if you’re around, I’d absolutely LOVE for you to come along, say hello, have a browse and show your support. Every visit, purchase, share and kind word would mean the world to me. 🫶

🌸 THIS FLORIST IS OUT THE SHED… AND ON HER HOLIDAY! 😉

Just a little reminder that I’m officially stepping away from the flowers (and the shed!) from 23rd–29th August while I enjoy some much-needed family time in Wales. 🥰

The shed has had a proper deep clean, the buckets are (mostly) tidy, and everything is ready for me to shut the door and walk away for a few days!

I can still take orders via WhatsApp while I’m away, but family time will be my priority, so calls may not always be answered.

*No fresh bunches, funeral work or other floral work will be carried out while I’m away*

I’ll be back taking orders properly from 1st September, after the Bank Holiday.

And a little sidenote… 😂
I very rarely use ChatGPT to make my posters because I actually LOVE getting creative on Canva myself… but honestly, how easy is this?! 😉🤣

Right, now I’m off to swap the shed for some Welsh adventures!
