There are some serious advantages to my job!

It’s Friday afternoon and I’ve just had the most amazing Hour and a Half chatting about Venue Decor with one of my brides over coffee whilst sitting outside.

I have shopping to do here afterwards so decided to treat myself to cake following the meeting.

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION- OPENING HOURS UPDATE *

To allow me to be able to give my couples and my family the time they deserve I have updated my current opening hours for General and Admin Enquiries Only.

* If you have a General or Admin Enquiry of any kind please note I will aim to respond to you within 24 Hours or The Next Working Day should it fall on a weekend or Bank Holiday.

* I appreciate that many couples are working, especially on weekdays.
Importantly I will still be offering Weekday Evening and Weekend Daytime Meetings on an Appointment Only Bases.

* I aim to be as flexible as possible.
If you do have an emergency enquiry outside of my normal working hours or if you are getting married next week and another supplier has

Congratulations You are Engaged 🥂

Most couples once they have decided on a date or month they would like to get married then go on to think about the ceremony.

Religious or Civil Ceremonies are both legally recognised in England, but they are not for everyone.
In England if you wish to be legally married you are required to choose one of the above, but what happens if neither of these options is really you?

A Third Option …… Have your legal ceremony with just 2 witnesses sometime before your Special Day and then choose a celebrant to conduct a very personal and unique ceremony which reflects you both and your journey together.

There are many celebrants who offer this, but today I recommend only two.
Why? Because I only recommend individuals and Suplliers who I have worked alongside and I can guarantee they will help make your Day as special as you deserve.

Final Wedding Fair 🥂

Whilst Weddings & Events by Michelle continues to grow, I have sadly made the decision not to continue with hosting wedding fairs in 2026.

When I hosted my very first wedding fair the cost was just £30 to exhibit, so as this will be the last wedding Fair I will also be charging only £30 for anyone who wishes to exhibit.

Through these fairs I have had the biggest privilege meeting and working alongside some wonderful suppliers and businesses as well as meeting some wonderful couples.

Also a massive thank you too the Axminster Guildhall and Uplyme Village Hall for your support the past 2 years.

Please rest assured Weddings & Events by Michelle is still very much going and is currently taking bookings into 2027.
I will just be attending wedding fairs rather than hosting from next year.

Finally if you are a couple who would like to attend as always this event is free!
