⠀
Hi everyone, I’m Holly 👋 and I thought it was about time I introduced myself.
⠀
A little about me… I’ve recently turned 34, I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for a year and a half, and we have an incredible little girl who started school in September. We also have a grumpy old cocker spaniel! ⠀
⠀
I’ve always loved flowers and I’ve always loved being creative. Becoming a florist is something I’ve often said I’d love to do “one day”, but I never really allowed myself to think about it seriously - especially in my thirties. I currently work in a corporate role alongside being a wedding coordinator (I like to keep busy!), so flowers always felt like a dream rather than a plan.⠀
⠀
My little girl is 4, and she’s full of big ideas and even bigger dreams 💭🤍 She’s always telling me what she wants to be when she grows up - one week it’s a policewoman, the next she wants to be on stage, or a hairdresser like her Auntie Sophie. I always tell her she can be anything she wants to be if she believes in it enough… and that made me stop and think. How could I say that to her, while being too scared to go after what I want myself?⠀
⠀
So I decided to be brave and show her that it’s never too late to do something new.. and that it’s absolutely ok to change your mind. And so, here I am, starting my own little florist dream 🌸⠀
⠀
I’ve been to flower school, where I was taught by the wonderful Sarah and her incredible team and while I was there I met two lovely women who were on the same journey as me. So… who knows where this will lead, but if you’d like to come along for the flowery ride, I’d love to have you 🌸⠀
⠀
I’m still working my 9–5, wedding coordinating, doing the school run, setting up my little home studio, and walking the dog - so it may be a slow start, but I’m hoping it will bloom 🌸
