I’m so excited to share that an extraordinary new voice is joining our literary events this autumn.
This October, I’ll be welcoming the hugely talented poet to our lineup - and this promises to be a truly special evening.
For those of you who haven’t yet discovered her work, Georgie is a performer by nature and a poet by trade, praised for her “formidable stage presence and compelling way with words” (Reviews Hub). A Roundhouse Poetry Slam finalist turned Resident Artist and BBC Words First alum, she has toured across the UK, gathered millions of views online.
Georgie will share poems from her debut collection, And The World Spins Anyway - a moving, honest and often uplifting exploration of real life in all its messy, unfiltered beauty. It’s a love letter to the unfinished and uncertain, and a reminder that none of us are alone in figuring things out.
“Riveting, relevant, relatable poetry.”
— Deborah Frances White
